- I love my new 2022 scatpack widebody challenger but here are some of the quirks I found about the car.

Those exhaust tips are modeled after the old school Challengers. The windows are for safety reasons and the head rest does move up and down. Press the button at the base.
For the headrest I meant that it doesn’t tilt.
The auto up isn't because of safety........ It's because of cheap, headrest would be nicer with tilt, the bottom looks plane but I like the old school call back
@@nativeoutdoors1780it's because the windows need to roll down then up a tiny bit to fully seal into the frame when opening and closing the door since the window has a frameless design which definitely looks way more sleek. If you've ever actually owned or been in a challenger then you would know this, as soon as the car senses you grabbing the door handle the window will pop down a little bit then pop up when the door is closed, this is a very neat system and definitely not just cheating out as you said
@@zachjonas6987thats a terrible excuse and is not a reason the challenger windows dont auto roll up. my mustang did the exact same thing and the windows still auto rolled up. so that cant be the reason, and it couldve been added to a challenger.
Rear camera looks great to me in person

I have the same car but slim body..I love everything about it. I think the back up camera is actually pretty decent. I agree with the windows though.

Hang on to that car. With the end of the hemi comes the value increase. Keep the mileage low.
I don’t daily her, my last car was almost 4 years old with only 20k before I sold it.
Value doesn't go up when no one can afford gas in it

@@nativeoutdoors1780 my friend just sold his scat pack to a Japanese business man. They are making the arraignments to ship the car to Japan. I have no idea why myself but maybe it will be ground into dust for medicinal uses?🤔
I love my Challenger. The window thing is a minor annoyance at worst. I do wish the backup camera was a bit clearer/brighter at times, but overall the pros of the Challenger far, far outweigh the cons.

Wait till the water pump fails and then the u Connect touch screen craps out then the windows stop closing all the way then the USB ports fail .......all in less than 3 years. And 25000 mi.

Just fyi the reason everything is kinda old school os bcuz it’s supposed to be a classic muscle car. That’s why the charger gets different treatment with windows and other features

Yeah and it’s like this all the way to the tippy top Super Stocks. Dodge could’ve been a little less lazy in that area.

The back up camera in the Dodge’s has always been the best out of most of the cars I’ve been in, IMO. 🤷🏻♂️
My old Ford had a slightly better camera!

how long does it take to learn stick ? can you teach yourself or should you learn from someone who knows stick well?
I learned from a friend back in high school. It is probably ideal to learn off a car you don’t care about stalling/grinding gears. I wouldn’t want to do that to a $60k car’s clutch/forks.
Love the shaker edition on these you got a sick speck 👏🏼 But dear Lord please no with the quad exhaust tips 😭 You’re not wrong tho, a change would be nice. They been looking like this since 2015 minus the widebody

Yeah, rear camera is not high res. That one sucks. The rest don't bother me. You can put on tips for like $250 or less.

There this thing where dodge actually doesnt have adjustable headrest but here me out there this button by the metal park on the head rest just press it and adjust it
When I mean adjustable, I mean head tilt adjustment. My mustang had it before I got the challenger.
All the problem you listed it’s fixable. So there no issue.
For the right price anything is fixable

Or maybe dodge could not use the same damn interior since 2015. These cars are already way overpriced and they have the nerve to do absolutely nothing to the interior of even give the 392 a little more power
I honestly don’t mind it. Yeah they could or should have done some small adjustments on the model years at the very least but this beast is still a blast to drive! Has more tech than my mustang premium+ did.
It's a beautiful car. Love the shaker hood ! The things you hate are minor issues. Add an aftermarket rear diffuser.

i'm doing a bit of research, if your happy and afford it then it's good. i'm got quoted 67 for one, but decided not to because my gut said they were shady and wanted a 3000$ deposit and said they were planning on marking it up.
going to a new one, im trading my sxt plus and few thousand dp, my payments are going to be 600 or higher, i have high credit score. i do hope i can get it to maybe 65 or 66
I highly suggest going slightly used. New is not worth the mark ups since this is the final production model year 2023.
The auto up is there, you can set it in features
How do you set it then? Everyone I see says you can’t. I’m sure the tazer may be able to but not without having to buy anything.
@@gilsgarageofficial i can't direct you like a technician at dodge, but i was paying around with a 2021 and found some features that weren't active that were in the body module functions and turned them on on, windows auto up and down are in there. Several features including the remote and light functions are in the same settings.

Cracks me up that Dodge charges $100k for the highest trims of these cars and they still use that 360p resolution back up camera resolution. My $26k 2016 Mustang had a better back up cam, makes no sense.

Windows will stop when going down you jus have to press down twice. I think it’s an American car thing cus other cars u press down then up to stop.. that’s how it’s is on my ss at least to me a while figure it out I’m sure it’s the same on dodge
There is no auto-up, only auto-down in the challenger

@@gilsgarageofficial agreed and dodge should be aware that its competitors like the mustang and Camaro came with standard fully automatic windows.
@@matthewtsai4847the challenger has a different window design that is frameless and has to go up and down a small bit whenever the doors open and close. Taking this into account it makes sense they couldn't work auto up in alongside the feature I just described which it needs. I can definitely see someone breaking their window cuz the auto up rolled it all the way up then when they close the door it busts out the window

@gilsgarageofficial i haven't seen those, i dont believe. I have seen alot of aftermarket quad tips, and they all looked cheap, so i still have the stock ones until i see something i like. I will check them out
