Finally, this how to video correctly shows how to replace the cable. Luckily I ran across your video before I broke my lawn mower even further. Thanks.
Thanks for posting. my mower ended up just having the belt come off, but your video's clear images of how to locate all the screws was very helpful. plus my using a drop light with a 100w bulb! the mower is back in business now.
@@LonnieJohnson1 a neighbor gave me a TB Tuff 210, says it runs but needs fuel. The tank is empty, the front wheel drive belt is in place, but have not tried to start it as I want to get some ethanol free gas, plus I want to adjust the oil level, as it looks over serviced - maybe added a little extra for winter storage. Thank you

I think you are the one to ask - the small lever that engages the wheels stopped engaging and is ‘dead’ - after watching your video it was very straight forward on how to replace the drive cable BUT my Troy Bilt 12av566n011 doesn’t have a piece to hook in like you show at 3:16. Not sure what to do-any guidance?
Good grief. These mowers are overly complicated just to replace a cable. Not sure why someone thought a front wheel drive was good for a mower, or why the clippings entering at the bottom of the bag and constantly getting clogged was a better design that entering at the upper part of the bag.

CAN YOU DO A VIDEO ON A REAR WHEEL DRIVE CABLE?
I know I have replaced a rear drive cable before but must not have made a video because I can't find it, but I will make one the next chance I get.

I have one of these, and the only part that ever breaks is this cable. Otherwise the thing is a beast.
Nothing is made with quality anymore.
If the cable is broken, will the mower still work as a push mower? Thank you sir
Yes, but it will be a little harder to push because of the drive unit.

It looks like it takes the same cable, is the piece broken off anywhere?
