Great video. Thanks I found same mower on street in a box. Put it all back together but the self propel cable is rusty inside. Soaked in PB blaster. But needs a new one

Should always tip the mower "carb to the sky" otherwise you'll dump oil into the intake.

Dad got it from a site called www.ereplacementparts.com/drive-control-assembly-p-1653978.html see 3:52. Hope they still have it but they have a number to call.
Just great you didn’t show how you got it in there and your hands and arms and big head were always in the way
We were still learning how to film that time. We tried what we could. But it seems to help some. Sorry it did not help you.
Is that also how you adjust the speed of the self propel?
I think our lawn mower is only one speed. Only thing is we can adjust the tension of the cable but it did not affect the speed.
Never flip your mower to that side. Always muffler side down air filter up.

Troy Bilt is another good brand but we have not tried any of their product to compare it with.
