I just got a free tb360 my neighbor had by the road. I took the carb off and the needle wouldn't come out of the seat. The needle ended up breaking so I came here. I just ordered the carb in the link. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing the video. I'm glad that this carburetor helps with your repair. Excited to see the mower is revived. Hopefully Briggs and Stratton's engineers will see this feedback and modify that design.
Excellent video on showing how to repair and maintain your mower 👍👍.It's a shame most people don't know basic maintenance. My first car I bought from a junkyard and rebuilt it.
Wow! I have the exact same mower. ALSO as luck would have it I too was given another one identical last week that I haven’t checked out yet but I do know when you pull the starter rope it sounds like it rubs/grinds and won’t start. This mower is sorta hard to find videos for and yours is FANTASTIC! We all thank you a lot!!!!!👌👌👌😁😁😁
These machines don't have fuel filters. If for some reason it does have a fuel filter it will be inside the fuel tank or connected to the fuel tank. But I have never seen a filter on the fuel line because the fuel line is generally only a few inches long. From the tank to the carb is just a few inches of hose. Not enough room to put a fuel filter. If it's not a clogged fuel tank then you probably have other issues like bad spark plug or bad coil.
Use the links below for all your info. Keep in mind that prices have changed since I made this video. I have the same mower I replaced it with a new carb and found out the oil was overfilled. It was a free mower but I still can't get it to start after I got out as much oil as possible and cleaned out the exhaust and plug and replaced with a new plug but if it does start it won't stay running but a few seconds. Any tips?
Make sure you have consistent spark. The coil could be intermittent or bad. Also make sure the carb is good. Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good. Some imported carbs have been known to be so poor that they wont run. Make sure everything is clean and the oil didn't contaminate anything.
Thank you. I have this same mower and have been having trouble with the carderator. I can not find the motor # to order one. Do you know where that # is?
Probably a clogged carburetor. Try taking it apart & cleaning it thoroughly. The jets can get plugged up. I have another mower video where I took the carb apart and show in detail how to clean the carb. I think it was this one, but I have more mower rescue videos on my channel: th-cam.com/video/eTAE0ewfhXo/w-d-xo.html
I have a friend who has the TB360 Professional model with the 190 CC Briggs & Stratton engine on it... however the sticker showing the engine has been basically been destroyed. He's having problems with it starting ... I replaced the plug (as the one in it had a lot of carbon built up on it), I had it running, but it barely ran until I took off the air filter and it sped up, but was still running rough.... then it wouldn't start. I'm suspecting a clogged carb. I'm looking for a replacement, however I'm not sure which one I should get as I'm not sure which engine model it is... anyone know??

It seems to be a common issue with these since that is the exact same problem I had to fix.
Great video, keep ‘em coming. Informative and entertaining.

Glad I could help. 👍 👍
Gracias!! I feel more confident to work on my Troy built and do my part to keep it maintained.
Good video but at two critical parts your arm got in the way of the camera and I could not see where the gaskets go near the engine.
Always rebuild the OEM if you can, they're a lot better carbs.
I replaced the carburetor but i think i need to replace the fuel filter but I cant locate it. Can you help?

Do you have the model number for the carb? I have the same mower and need to replace. Good tips. Thanks for the video!

Nice job on video… which lift do you have?
It's the 500 lbs lift from Vevor. Cheaper than Harbor Freight when I got it. Don't know about right now.
I can't get mine to mulch with a mulching blade.
The blade is probably upside down. Turn it over and see if that helps. You must also be using the mulching attachment, not the bag.
