Hi Guys - only just started watching - very interesting and enjoyable - may give it a go. What detectors do you use and where did you get that wee belted spade as apart from detecting, one would be great on my allotment. Ta.
Cheers for watching. Lee is using Deus 2, myself the minelab Manticore. We both use the equinox 800 as well. All are great capable, easy to use machines. Great deals on the 800 at the moment. Good quality, heavy border spades which Lee has cut to size and edged. He used to work for British steel so he has his uses. Thank you for your comment.
Thanks Steve much appreciated - modified border spade - i used to work at British Steel myself in days of yore i.e. at Hartlepool, but as an Electrician - no metal work training being a Sparkie 😂. I noticed that the spade had a forged riveted shaft which you never see these days - they seem to be all just wrap around crimped tube / cylinder types these days - so if he can remember the original make I'll go get one and have my cousin cut it down to size - he's retired now but was a blacksmith 😂
@@iancrammen22Good evening. It's a Greenman border spade bought in Jersey, channel Isles last year. Very strong and gives a neat cut. It was around £30. Noticed a dealer at the coil to the soil rally selling similar adapted spades.
Great video, love the enable badges😊
Glad you like them!
