Just came across this build and I love it I have always loved the old bugs. I'm also a drift fan and always thought about a drift bug. I wasn't thinking a Baja but you made it work. Love the build I would still like to see a non Baja build tho.

Lol he didn't buy the whole kit just for the body. The Sand Scorcher body is available on it's own. I personally would've used the Monster Beetle body instead.

that kindda vid that deserves a like after just 15 secs... nice made movie, and content, luv the high tech rat rod chassis, all carbon, with those aluminium suspension in purple... you sir are a man of my own heart and taste. =D how about making/getting some old skool vw bug bus wheels with those chrome dome-like hubcaps?! ...And turning a small laptop cooler into that porsche engine fan, with a rubber belt to an aluminium pulley(with a tiny HDD internal ball bearing as fixing point), so that the rear looks real and moving.

I built a diy Hotrod out of aluminum in basicly the same way as you build your stuff: Modifying, making and utilizing randome bits and bolts that fit my needs. -The rust effect paint is super awesome, I really like how easy it is to make things look awesomely worn and battered! :)
