A great event. So many classics in such great condition. Especially seeing MOC and Mib MOTU always sparks my interest. Love that outro seeing those British views in the ☀️
Cheers Chris! 🤘 Yeah, nice to see MOTU represented in the store. The sat-nav on the way took me down the motorway so was a nice surprise to be routed through the country side on the way home. A perfect end to a chilled Sunday afternoon 👍
Hey Dave! This was the first time I've seen them and they definitely caught my eye. I would love to add to the collection, but given your experience I'll wait 😎
David!!!!!! You do more than enough for me, but you are a wonderful human being!!! And once again you are very generous and simply too good to me 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 The Batman animated figures will be an amazing addition to the collection thank you so much 👊 But what a store!!! And sooo happy to see you snagged Face’s corvette! One of the best ones I’ve ever seen for keeping its colour and undamaged windscreen 👌 Glad you had such a good day, some stand out pieces all over the place at that store!!! Thanks for sharing 👍
Ah, no problem! I couldn't leave those Batman behind, they had to be in your collection 😎 For a last minute decision, it ended up being a really relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. And am pleased to have picked up the Corvette!! 🤘
Wow, something for everyone there Dave! The Madballs Head-Poppers caught my eye as well, as did the Remco Mini Monsters. Glad to see you grabbed the GITD Creature!
G'day Scott! 🤘 I don't have any Madballs but could get into them! They were cool looking. Really happy to finally find the glow in the dark creature! Cheers! 👍
Wow, Dave! What a great event with an awesome set of displays. So many things I recognize in there from my childhood and from my little brothers' stuff they had. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you and showing so much. I was actually impressed that I was familiar with some of it from watching your videos and Luke's videos as well, otherwise, I may not have had any idea what some of that stuff was. 😂 Cheers sir!
Hey Paul!! Good to see you here 🤘 And I'm glad that Luke and I have succeeded in your vintage training, most impressive 🤣 There were a few Star Wars grails I'd loved to have walked away! Great afternoon... thanks for taking a look 👍
Some great items at the event! Didn't spot a General Madine, but he must've been there somewhere. Nice pickups too Dave! Thanks for taking us along with you! 👍
That Madine is sneaky! Wonder if he was hiding in that wooden cabinet on the wall. I'm gonna go back to check. Don't want him to think he's one step ahead 🤣 Thanks for coming along 👍
Nice presentation as usual, Dave. Those boxed and carded figures look great at the show. Great classic Star Wars figures too. 4::08 I agree, C3PO has met The Thing! Thanks for the great figures and video game showcase!
Thanks!! 🤘I recently watched The Thing prequel/sequel whatever it was - and that was all I could picture in my mind 😎 Still not really sure what those C3PO figures are 👍
@@VintageToyRush Cool, yeah, The Thing 2011 was a really good horror prequel to The Thing original. That C3PO looks like one of those model kits with all the plastic linking pieces still attached.
I just checked your channel yesterday…I must have toy telepathy. 😂 Face vette was choice. Remco Creature as well. I might have had to pop on one of those Poppers. I also like the little signs in each case. Good hunting. Good video. Thank you.
Thanks for checking in 🤘 Yeah, pleased with the Vette, strangely it doesn't show up as much as the van here in the UK, and have always loved those Remco Monsters. I don't have mad ball stuff but those Poppers looked great - one day maybe! If I ever open a vintage toy museum, I'd steal the idea of those little signs 👍
I've said it before but your nature is so peaceful to watch. I feel like if I was a pigeon I'd wait all day with my family by the park bench just so I can enjoy a breadcrumb from the most pleasant human being in England. Coo... Silliness aside, always a pleasure watching your videos, keep up the excellent work. Ps great pacing as always 🎥 as you film the toys, gives is time to really enjoy them 😊 I uploaded a vid recently, have a nosy if u feel like it, it's only short😊 But no pressure! Take care😄
"I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too, it gives me a sense of enormous wellbeing. And then I'm happy for the rest of the day, safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to it" - your comment reminded me of this classic Blur lyric !! 🤘 Thanks for your kind words and feedback. I will definitely take.a look at your vid!! 👍
Hey Gary! 🤘 Yeah, never heard such a clear voice box on any vintage toy! Don't know about the prices on those C3POs. I can ask for you or they're responsive to messages on their tvm.wantage instagram. I'm still not really sure what they are 🤣
I can't answer why it was priced that way. However, it was graded and in very nice condition. It doesn't actually appear in the video as it was already sold 👍
@VintageToyRush ok mate no worries. was just wondering, as I was very interested in it but the price put me off. I got one from eBay that was £150 that had the box and all the stickers and has been graded. So all happy now ☺️
Wow!!! What an absolute treasure trove of 80s goodness.
Definitely a chilled way to spend a Sunday afternoon browsing such a treasure trove 👍

Lots of toy goodness

What an amazing collection to see! That Vinyl Cape and Early Bird! WOW!!! (But budget wise…your new corvette and the van. 😎😎)
Pete, I can imagine you saying "Deal" over and over again 🤣
Looks like a packed shop. Those AD&D pvc figures are tough to get at a good price. I have three so far and that has taken me many years.

CHiPs, Mork, D&D, Univ. Monsters, Wrist Racers, Dewback...Great shelf!
Yeah, I was tempted by the CHiPs, D&D, well all of it 🤣
Which items would you have picked up? Thanks for the support as always, and thanks to TVM for a great preview event🤘
That all looked very purchasable Dave! I will definitely be enquiring about some of those Graded Star Wars figures 😁 Thanks for sharing 👍
Hey Martyn! 🤘 Yeah, worth investigating - not sure on the prices, certainly the graded items carried the usual premium price 👍
Another great video Dave. I think Martyn and I will have to pay a visit to that one sometime!
Thanks Adam! 🤘 Yeah, worth a visit although I would check on whether they still have all those graded items 👍
Wow there was a bit of everything in that place, that was a lovely trip down memory lane, cheers
Thanks Delvian! 🤘 Yeah, nice to see the variety 👍
Great video VTR, so much goodness there! Great to see, but sad in a way, if it's someone's collection thats being sold (for whatever reason).
Cheers Dez! 🤘 My understanding is that they buy from this collector fairly regularly 👍

WOW! That Action Man is off the charts. I loved that gold look hat. Amazing clarity for the voice box. How much were the first shot C-3PO’s priced at?

@@VintageToyRush I don’t have IG, so I’d appreciate if you could. Very interested to know more.
@@garymoore1975 Let me ask 👍
FYI. The CP30’s were priced at £500 each. Hope this helps.
Can i ask a question about the real ghostbusters ecto 1. It was priced at £400 can i ask why?
