A note on that Apollo swingarm pivot being at the sprocket. The chain keeps the same tension thru. the full range of travel. On a std pivot point, you must run enough chain slack, otherwise the sprockets counter shaft will receive torque and crack the engine/motor case.
That’s what I said in my video. The Apollo’s chain does not need slack as like a normal dirt bike does. It’s the same setup as a Surron or a Talaria. The chain tension does not change with the compression of the suspension.
Strange that you can’t hear the audio. when I view the video I can hear it fine. I don’t know why it’s doing that with the audio. I’ll try and adjust the audio. Turn on the captions.
Don’t sweat it, you’d have to re edit the video. Just turn the audio down on the intro specifically in your next videos. Also, I wanted to mention, I’ve taken the Ron all the way up the back way to Crown king before. They’re definitely capable. Cheers from west valley.
Yeah the Surron is still the king of the 60v bikes. The Talaria mx4 is amazing. But the lightness of the Surron makes it A lot of fun It’s the power to weight ratio thing. But the Surron is definitely a toy compared to the Talaria. There’s nothing wrong with it being a toy because it a very capable toy. I just wish the Surron bumped there controller power up to 120amp to 150amp, instead of 80amp’s That would make the Surron undisputed champion.
Nice video. I have an MX4 but instantly started wondering about the Apollo after watching. Seems about a +1500 increase in price? I'm seeing 5,999 retail for the RFN? I am still blown away at how good the MX4 does on the dirt, and plus the road too.
Yeah the MX4 is an amazing bike. It has the smoothest throttle curve out of all 3 bikes. It rides like a Cadillac compared to the other 2 bikes. The Apollo is More expensive for sure. In my personal opinion, It shouldn’t be though. I believe It should be the same price as the Surron or Talaria.
Ive just ordered my new rfn iam keen to put a universal led light on the front and possibly a tail light ,can you advise how you did it ? ,where did you take power from and is it just 12v led light and a universal switch and ground wire ?
I had the mx3 that was my first dirt e bike. I sold it the day that the Talaria sting R was released. And bought the mx4 the same day. I liked my mx3 but I love the mx4. Now Talaria has the new bike. The Talaria Dragon 88v with 28kw That’s next.
@@mrKushmann1 The MX-3 motor was designed to take more punishment than the MX-4. The MX-3 is capable of running 10,000+ RPM, where the MX-4 can only run 8,000 RPM. See it in the clip below. th-cam.com/users/clipUgkx5pUUnju7-LrzsKglmYQE6wXx-0bvpjt1
Man that’s a tough question. I love the lightness of the Surron. I love the way the Talaria Sting R rides. It’s so smooth and powerful. And I love the looks of the Apollo RFN. The RFN is really good it needs a power upgrade to the rabbit mode and a way to keep rocket mode full time but it’s a fantastic bike. If I had to choose probably the Talaria Sting.
@@mrKushmann1 Thanks for the info I had a surron and I really liked it I just feel like I need something with a little more power and a little more taller. You just made me want the talaira. I was thinking RFN but you say the talaira is better.
The Apollo is the fastest if your in rocket mode. The Surron and the Talaria has 2 modes. The Apollo has 3 modes. So in the 3rd mode the Apollo is the fastest.
The Apollo is the fastest because it gives you a 9-10 seconds of rocket mode which is 12kw of power. In its normal riding mode it’s only delivering 5 kw so the Talaria and the Surron in normal drive mode are faster then the Apollo but as I said the Apollo has a Rocket mode button that will propel you ahead of the others for 10 seconds
Definitely not comparable to the ultra bee since the ultra bee is $8,500 and the Apollo is under $5k. The Apollo with a upgraded controller to get the 12.5kw constant and a Supermoto setup would be a lot of fun to wheelie around town
I bought an MX4 in August. Thanks for a great video! It has fastace shocks front and rear. One the front, blue on the left and silver on the right.
Yeah the fast ace forks are great. I’m real happy with these factory forks but the fast ace are fantastic as well.
Ride on my brother ride on❤
Luna MX4 comes with the fastback shocks?

can you just add indicators and a rear break light on the RFN without problems?
Yes with no issues they have street legal kits that make the lighting simple to install.

I added a light with a 20v battery from my cordless chainsaw.
I strap the battery under the seat and it works great.
Hay.
How did you wire up the light please
I used a Hart 20v chain saw battery and wired it in with a switch. If you send me your email I’ll send you a video.

which of them was faster? did the apollo keep up?

@@mrKushmann1 is there a cooldown or something on it?
No cooldown and the new ones go for 60 seconds. You can keep hitting the button over and over.
Which one is the fastest
The RFN is the fastest.
The RFN is pushing 12kw for 9seconds
Then the Talaria Sting R at 8kw.
Then the Surron at 6kw.
Fastest in torque? Or top speed?
bac4000 on it and wap it for all its marbles i bet its way faster then stock
Yeah they have it now. They have the bac 8000 for 900$.
We will see I think next is the Talaria Dragon

Yeah i think the bike need the controller flashed and 16in rear wheel. After that this bike is amazing.
Can’t hear u mate 😂
Sorry
If you use headphones it will work better.
talaria is the better bike, easy to unplug the brake sensors no wire chopping
I think the talaria is a better built bike that rides better and is quieter and smoother than the others in its class.
