Dr. Doom is such an amazing character. Like he is a condescending asshole at times, but he speaks from experience.
Storm is such a majestic presence that even one like Dr.Doom is unable to control himself completely and not flirt or pay compliments to her beauty.

@KrasseOdaVonBayern yeah but can you really trust it. When it comes to the doombot unless you destroy it right then and there you almost have no way of telling what is what. If we go by Rick standards then dooms copies are done well enough that they would be considered talented. Dooms only person I know of who made robots use magic. Well until stark Supreme and Otto Supreme.

I love unique interactions when heroes and villains take a moment to understand each others intentions. Really fleshes out who they are and not just be good guy vs bad guy.

Nicely done, and the subtle Eastern/Central European accent only added to Doom, since Latveria is supposed to be in that approximate neighborhood? Storm's VA did well also, and both of you conveyed regalness without overdoing it.
Why is it that doom sounds like he has no helmet while storm sounds like shes speaking from in a space helmet

I remember there was one comic where Doctor Doom was having a conversation between T'Challa and Storm that implied that Doom is subtly racist. Doom says that he believes that Africans and African Americans are physically gifted to compensate for their lack of intelligence. But since Doom somewhat respects T'Challa as an intellectual equal, he believes that Wakandans are exceptional in intelligence amongst their African counterparts. Since Storm is only Wakandan by marriage that was eventually annulled, I wonder if Doom still holds on to his subtle-bigoted opinion here, since it could be seen as Doom trying to "rizz up" Storm.
If saying Africans and African Americans in particular are lacking intelligence registers as "subtly racist" in your opinion, your blind spots in conceptualizing racism leave much to be desired.
That doesn’t make any sense;especially since Negros and Afrikaans (Hamites)are totally separate tribes of people with different forefathers;which is showing Dooms ignorance , arrogance,bigotry,and xenophobia.

Yeah, but John Byrne flipped off Chris Claremont by making that a robot. It didn't make sense, regardless of the thought balloons. It WAS ridiculous for Doom to tolerate that Claremont clown named Arcade.
@@richardshaw6664 True, and in the end it didn't take much persuasion for Doom to let Arcade go. Perhaps the whole conflict could've been averted if Storm had explained their situation and asked just a little more nicely at the start.

Doom is lying about the doombot thing. They're just so ubiquitous and are synonymous with him that he can lie and nobody can really pin him on it.
The Doom that worked with Arcade really was a Doombot, it's seen reporting back to Doom in a later issue where he commands it to self-destruct for claiming Arcade was "needed" for the plan, as Doom needs no one.

Doom isn't black that isn't Doom.
He isn't, and neither is that. He's Romani, so he has slightly dark skin. Just how Scarlet Witch has slightly darker skin in the newer comics which is much more accurate. Besides that, the lighting also makes his skin look slightly darker.
