This is fantastic, I was curious on if it were possible to have Ableset stop your computer from going into a sleep mode. That way on stage in between rehearsal and the performance it doesn’t turn off. (Especially because I’m usually not the one running tracks so I have to re-enter my password), but I still like my computer auto-locking when I’m not on stage and wouldn’t want to change the setting everytime. Also, if you were able to open the last setlist you had for ableset on ableset. (This way if it crashes it’s an easy way to open it back up, but also so you can roll up to rehearsal, and have ableset open the project file instead of searching for it yourself, which then starts ableset. The second one definitely sounds hard or not possible with the OS, but worth a shot. Great work Leo!!
Hey Cody, thank you for your feedback! Regarding your first suggestion, you could try an app called Amphetamine (apps.apple.com/us/app/amphetamine/id937984704?mt=12) which is free and allows you to prevent your Mac from sleeping while a certain app is running. You can also prevent the screensaver from starting if you like. Your 2nd suggestion sounds like a good idea! I should be able to check whether Live is currently running and I already have access to the path of the last project file, so that shouldn't be difficult to implement. Do you think this should be a setting so that when AbleSet is started, it automatically launches Ableton Live as well with the last used project file if it isn't already running? I'm looking forward to your feedback!
@@ableset Hey Leo! Thanks so much for that app suggestion, will definitely be checking it out! And yes absolutely! It would be one less thing to open up when trying to set up tracks (especially in a fast paced setup environment, but being able to load the last project you worked on as an option if ableset is opened before ableton live would be awesome!
You continue to impress, Leo. Can't thank you enough.
INCREDIBLE
This is awesome!!! Thank you leo!
Features I didn’t even know I wanted, the best kind! Great work Leo! Ableset just keeps getting better and better
