I love this it's gorgeous 😍 you could also use Elmer's glue on the back just paint it in let it dry then peel it off like we did as kids 😂 it works just like the liquid latex just cheaper and if you're in a pinch 😊
I have the a5 notebook cover, watching this shows me there’s so many ideas to use with it. I was planning one without the floral vinyl but I’m liking the look of it so may rearrange lol
Hi. I haven't done any projects yet but would love to make some gifts. What exactly did you use for the mica to stick? Wow! I love these and would love to try it with my idea. TIA for your guidance. 🤗
@@holleezhobbies Thank you for the reply. You didn't use anything to spread the mica powder? 🤔🤔 I have an event next May and my theme is Bumble 🐝 🐝. I want to start practicing. 😁
@@jocelynhernandez5261 ...I haven't made anything bee themed yet. That would be super cute! Do you have an instagram account, or tiktok? I'd love to see what you create. ❤️
@@holleezhobbies thank you so much im been trying to look but some are so expensive if yiu can share the link that will be amazing thank you again 🙏🏼♥️
I started off with 40 mL (20 part A & 20 part B), which is great for the 1st thin layer. My 2nd & 3rd layers, I mixed 40, but had left over for little keychain molds.
@@holleezhobbies thank you so much for all the help. Great appreciated. I did one where I mixed the mica in the resin and it like sank I guess is the word and looked funky

Lol...I remember saturating my fingers in Elmer's glue, & feeling oddly satisfied peeling them off, one finger at a time. Thank you for that idea!
@@holleezhobbies Yes the thicker the more satisfying when it was time to peel it 😂😂😂 you're most welcome!😊

Hi, Jocelyn! :) My mica didn't stick very well, so I had to add more mica into the final epoxy layer on the back sides of both pieces.

where can I find a mold for a 8.5 x 11 in notebook mold with holes for a spiral coil--about 40 holes on the side?
Hi, MaryAnn! I'm not sure where you'd find one that size with that many holes. Have you checked Etsy?
Hi. I liked your creation. I have a question. Where did you purchase those plugs that you placed on the holes? thank you for your channel.
Hi! Thanks so much! Those plugs are listed under the video in the description. They're the 2nd item listed under "Amazon."
@@holleezhobbies Thank you. You inspire me.

Thank you so much!
Can't this me done in Cricut joy?
I don't have a Cricut Joy, but I imagine it would cut the same, just on a smaller piece of vinyl.
Where did you get the floral vinyl?
Hi, Dawn! My supplies are listed in the description box.
Where did u get the rings?
Hi, Michelle! I got them from Amazon. They came with the paper as a pack.

It’s stunning. How much epoxy do you mix and pour for the set? I have the molds just no idea what to pour. Thanks

@@holleezhobbies great thanks so much. Can’t wait to play with these
@@holleezhobbies does the mica or inks put directly into the mold stain them? I’m new with molds so wasn’t sure.
There will be residue left on some spots, but they wash off well with soap & water.
