Wait hold on. That bugged Zapp gave me an idea. The Uther set it to 15/15. Normally the golden "buff" should just add the stats of another copy to the card, in this case that would be 7/10. But due to spaghetti code it stayed at 15/15. But then when it lost golden status, 7/10 was correctly removed making it an 8/5! Now that clearly seems like a bug that will be patched out, but I'm wondering if you could mess around with a Mecherel to give it 0 attack and bring back ping pong comp.
Now let's say that was a Mecherel. It would end up as a 9/11. If you just had the golden hammer reward all game, I wonder if it would keep losing stats with each golden hammer. Because if you golden it again with the quest, it would stay at 9/11 and then lose another 6/4 next turn when it ungoldens, making it a 3/6. Another turn later it would be a -3/2 which probably ends up being a 0/2 and BOOM 0 attack Mecherel is back!
ping pong comp is 2 mecherels, one being 0 attack, taunt and divine shield so it never attacks. Basicly every attack your opponent makes is into a taunt/divine shield minion and every attack you make is with a divine shield minion, making your comp immune to damage.. That is, unless the opponent runs leeroy, blaster, cleave, windfury or just 1 big minion
@@bjarkov12 atm the only good way of doing this seems to be with Voljin. Swap stats between a Mecherel and the new 0/3 dragon on tavern 1. The strat i described seems nigh impossible to pull off.
@@Dunzification And on top of that, the build will at best work for 1 round and deal a maximum of 16 damage. It's a huge risk to go for it at any time but the final round as its fragile to a number of minions and abilities that are abundant in most lobbies
Even money wise, he gets the 3 gold spent for brann back immediately for selling 2 extra cards and the bran itself (+3gold since gallywix) + he had another tempest in shop which is +1 gold (+1 next turn) so thats 8 gold total

I played Galli in a similar lobby today (MMR is about 6.5k bad I know...) And got the extra money per turn quest super ez, ended up having 50 Gold turn 13 lol
@@MichaelHill-jt6qq The baron didn't do anything last fight despite living until basically the end. Starting with the cleave won the fight by wiping out both rats together, and they didn't get reborn due to space. With no more deathrattle summons there was nowhere left to leap.
@@cliqclaq508 it’s incredibly broken when you get it early. It’s starting building by one per turn from the turn you get it. If you get it on turn 3 you are basically playing the rest of the game with twice as much gold as everybody rlse
