Such a great idea, gentlemen! I don't think I've seen anything like this before, and this was really fun to watch! I'm surprised to see Pop Tarts make a return but grateful you didn't give up on them entirely. Straight out of the wrapper is how I used to eat them until recently. I'm now team frozen Pop Tarts because they resemble ice cream sandwiches when frozen. Even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in between. The big surprise for me was Froot Loops losing to Pop Tarts but all of the others were predictable due to the dryness and minimal amount of filling and frosting on them. I don't have a favorite one because it changes on my mood but the Pumpkin ones a must every fall and for other times of the year Frosted Chocolate and Cinnamon Brown Sugar ones are my go-to.
Fellow #teamfrozen in the house!! Love that! They definitely become a bit tougher in the freezer which we weirdly enjoy and you’re right - they’re so good with ice cream. Fruit loops / cereal in general isn’t really our jam so it wasn’t TOO great of a challenge to beat it but we were still surprised by enjoying it as much as we did! Cinnamon brown sugar is the GOAT! @@missyleng Just about anything can go between them but my favorite is vanilla ice cream! You can also try marshmallow or marshmallow fluff to get that same vanilla flavor. :)

You could do a video on what the best spread is for Pop Tarts - ice cream, cream cheese, cheesecake mousse, cookie butter, marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, Nutella, butter, etc. The choices are endless, but I suppose it would be quite difficult narrowing down which flavor of Pop Tarts to experiment with!

8 Btw: I discovered your guys youtube channel back in december of 2020 when i was very deeply sick with anorexia and food related issues. when i started to watch your videos, this might sound crazy, but it made me want to enjoy the foods and sweets I enjoyed when i was a kid. I continued watching your videos all the way up until now and it motivated me to add some enjoyable indulgences into my life which actually greatly improved my health and made me happier to begin enjoying many fun foods again. Don’t stop what you guys are doing!

You guys never seem to run out of great video ideas! Enjoyed this as always. It's been a long time since I've had Pop-tarts (can't eat them anymore) but I know I did enjoy the s'mores flavor and I think the brown sugar cinnamon was my favorite too! The pumpkin pie and cinnamon roll ones sound amazing though. I cook all the time, but maybe it's about time I take up baking ~

This is a great idea! I never have had a poptart frozen, I always just ate them out of the package growing up but I would toast them now! I love throwing my cookies/donuts into the microwave to warm them up a bit

If you’re a fan of any of the chocolate flavors, those are the ones we’d recommend most highly straight out of the freezer! We feel that some flavors are best toasted, others straight from the foil and others frozen. The best flavors can be enjoyed all of those ways in our opinion. But any of the chocolate flavors (hot fudge sundae and cookies and creme in particular) are 1000x better frozen 😋 Thanks for the love! You rule 😎🤘

We’ll be on the lookout for that pop-tart challenge 😃 Pretty excited about that eggo flavor too tbh 🤤 Word of warning, make sure to anticipate a roof wrecker with the pop tarts challenge 😆 it’s not something we expected going into it, but man that frosting really tears things up after a while! Also be careful with not overdoing it with the liquids too early. Those things will end up drying you out pretty fast and if you go too hard too soon with the liquids you might find yourself relying on them pretty heavily and hitting a wall early on 😬 Hope that helps in some way! Loved the video 😊👍. Not so bothered about quantity of food eaten, just love the different new content you have been coming up with. Shockingly pop tarts are not suitable for vegetarians, so never had one 😞. In the UK though, we can only get about 3/4 flavours anyway!!

To whom it may concern (odd, but seems fitting and I’m not sure sure anyone including The Takedown Twins will read this): Thank you for these videos and your positivity. You have shown and taught me how to have better relationships with food. Anorexia has taken over my life. I have completely restricted and feared foods for years. I started eating more but then over exercised to compensate. I’m now so weak I’m a fall risk…and I’m a young adult. I am constantly injured and now need to push myself up from sitting. But now I’m eating foods again. Unfortunately binging (which I never used to do) is happening, but I’m okay with it because I’m actually eating foods again! I’ve just avoided it for so long my willpower was overtaken eating it again for the first time. I wouldn’t have done it without the positive food relationships I’ve seen from you guys. You’ve been truly helpful. Thank you ❤

Pop-tarts in the freezer are a become a bit tough in texture but we’re weird and enjoyed that 😅😅 the chocolate flavors in particularly are the best in the freezer in our opinion! We’ve always found that toasting brings out to flavor more in certain flavors like cinnamon, apple etc.. but yes, so excited for thanksgiving as well 😍😍 So glad you enjoyed the video and sending love right back to you, Alison!
Those cinnamon roll pop tarts are fire. But my fave has always been the cherry. And as for temp wise the s'mores or cookie dough ones are good in the toaster, otherwise I like them room temp out of the package. As always love the vids!
Agreed! Straight out of the package is how we ate them growing up so we’re totally with you there! Some flavors are definitely best toasted (we tried the cinnamon roll one toasted after shooting this vid and loved it that way!) but anything chocolate we find is best frozen. Those hot fudge sundae and cookies and creme ones are 1000x better that way in our opinion 🙌 Much love!
My favorite way to enjoy Pop-Tarts is as a sort of cookie sandwich! Spread peanut butter, cookie butter, or chocolate/maple syrup on one half, stick the other half to it, and devour! I absolutely love the cinnamon/brown sugar flavor with Biscoff cookie butter...
The confetti cupcake is my favourite alongside sugar cookie and cookie dough + chocolate chip. I'll soon try red velvet and I think it will break the top
Loved the calorie comparison! I've only had the traditional Pop-Tart flavors, but I've always found them a bit too sweet and artificial tasting so I wasn't expecting much from the Pop-Tarts. That pumpkin pie surprised me the most -- still can't believe a quarter of the pie is the same calorie-wise as a pack of Pop-Tarts!

Can’t beat a big soft pretzel coated in cinnamon sugar 😍🥨 Nate tried the pretzel pop-tart toasted and it seemed to help the flavor a touch but still not a worthy pop-tart in our opinion. So glad you enjoyed and hope you have a great week as well, Viki!

My favorite Pop Tart as a kid growing up was the original Apple Cinnamon. The apple flavor was like pie and paired with the cinnamon topping made them elite. I couldn't believe it when they were discontinued. Runner ups were Raspberry and Cherry.
Cinnamon Apple SLAYED! They have one called “crisp apple” now that, if we remember correctly, does have a cinnamon note but not as prevalent as what we remember from that one as kids. All the cinnamon ones do hit toasted because of that pie element you mentioned! Much love, Dustin!

Heck yeah! Especially the chocolate flavors in the freezer 🔥🔥🔥 game changer. Haha yeah there are almost 30 flavors of pop-tarts here in the states and that’s not including any of the pop-tart bites or crisps 😆 overkill!

Our favorite flavors are the ones we feel are best enjoyed any which way (straight from the foil, toasted or frozen). So if you ever find yourself with a hot fudge sundae, cookies and creme, or chocolate fudge flavor, we think freezing them is a total game changer. Oooooh - loved this video. I like my pop tarts toasted. This was really fun. You had some really cool pop tart flavours that I’d love to try! In the U.K. you can occasionally get the strawberry or apple pop tarts, if your lucky - but they are a bit boring. I’ve tried the confetti cupcake pop tarts that I got from a specialist American shop and really liked them. But for me, I’d rather have the actual item than the pop tart flavour every time. I’d really love to try those Oreo Most Stuf cookies though, we don’t get them here. 😋
Like most things in America, there are just too many options 😆😆 They’re definitely fun but, if having the real things is accessible and practical, you’re not missing out on much in our opinion. Most Stuf Oreos on the other hand (and all the varieties of Oreo in general here) get us every time 🤤🤤

It's been a long time since I've had Pop-tarts (can't eat them anymore) but I know I did enjoy the s'mores flavor and I think the brown sugar cinnamon was my favorite too! The pumpkin pie and cinnamon roll ones sound amazing though. I cook all the time, but maybe it's about time I take up baking ~

This is a great idea! I never have had a poptart frozen, I always just ate them out of the package growing up but I would toast them now! I love throwing my cookies/donuts into the microwave to warm them up a bit

I'm not a fan of the actual Pop-Tart brand, although I like grocery store brand Pop-Tarts, but having never heard of eating them frozen before, I'm keen to try it now

I never thought of eating a Pop-Tart frozen. Toasted, yes. Straight out of the package room temp, yes. But frozen, so intriguing! Great video guys, another winner.
If you’re a fan of any of the chocolate flavors, those are the ones we’d recommend most highly straight out of the freezer! We feel that some flavors are best toasted, others straight from the foil and others frozen. The best flavors can be enjoyed all of those ways in our opinion. But any of the chocolate flavors (hot fudge sundae and cookies and creme in particular) are 1000x better frozen 😋

Word of warning, make sure to anticipate a roof wrecker with the pop tarts challenge 😆 it’s not something we expected going into it, but man that frosting really tears things up after a while! Also be careful with not overdoing it with the liquids too early. Those things will end up drying you out pretty fast and if you go too hard too soon with the liquids you might find yourself relying on them pretty heavily and hitting a wall early on 😬

Shockingly pop tarts are not suitable for vegetarians, so never had one 😞. In the UK though, we can only get about 3/4 flavours anyway!!

Thank you for these videos and your positivity. You have shown and taught me how to have better relationships with food. Anorexia has taken over my life. I have completely restricted and feared foods for years. I started eating more but then over exercised to compensate. I’m now so weak I’m a fall risk…and I’m a young adult. I am constantly injured and now need to push myself up from sitting. But now I’m eating foods again. Unfortunately binging (which I never used to do) is happening, but I’m okay with it because I’m actually eating foods again! I’ve just avoided it for so long my willpower was overtaken eating it again for the first time. I wouldn’t have done it without the positive food relationships I’ve seen from you guys. You’ve been truly helpful. Thank you ❤

I toast them unless I’m already at school for the day. You should have did the banana 🍌 creme pie haha. As for Oreos, I’m addicted! Peanut butter pie Oreos!!! Pop-tarts in the freezer are a become a bit tough in texture but we’re weird and enjoyed that 😅😅 the chocolate flavors in particularly are the best in the freezer in our opinion! We’ve always found that toasting brings out to flavor more in certain flavors like cinnamon, apple etc.. but yes, so excited for thanksgiving as well 😍😍 So glad you enjoyed the video and sending love right back to you, Alison!

Those cinnamon roll pop tarts are fire. But my fave has always been the cherry. And as for temp wise the s'mores or cookie dough ones are good in the toaster, otherwise I like them room temp out of the package. As always love the vids!
Agreed! Straight out of the package is how we ate them growing up so we’re totally with you there! Some flavors are definitely best toasted (we tried the cinnamon roll one toasted after shooting this vid and loved it that way!) but anything chocolate we find is best frozen. Those hot fudge sundae and cookies and creme ones are 1000x better that way in our opinion 🙌

My favorite way to enjoy Pop-Tarts is as a sort of cookie sandwich! Spread peanut butter, cookie butter, or chocolate/maple syrup on one half, stick the other half to it, and devour! I absolutely love the cinnamon/brown sugar flavor with Biscoff cookie butter...

Loved the calorie comparison! I've only had the traditional Pop-Tart flavors, but I've always found them a bit too sweet and artificial tasting so I wasn't expecting much from the Pop-Tarts. That pumpkin pie surprised me the most -- still can't believe a quarter of the pie is the same calorie-wise as a pack of Pop-Tarts!

Can’t beat a big soft pretzel coated in cinnamon sugar 😍🥨 Nate tried the pretzel pop-tart toasted and it seemed to help the flavor a touch but still not a worthy pop-tart in our opinion. So glad you enjoyed and hope you have a great week as well, Viki!

My favorite Pop Tart as a kid growing up was the original Apple Cinnamon. The apple flavor was like pie and paired with the cinnamon topping made them elite. I couldn't believe it when they were discontinued. Runner ups were Raspberry and Cherry.
Cinnamon Apple SLAYED! They have one called “crisp apple” now that, if we remember correctly, does have a cinnamon note but not as prevalent as what we remember from that one as kids. All the cinnamon ones do hit toasted because of that pie element you mentioned! Much love, Dustin!

Our favorite flavors are the ones we feel are best enjoyed any which way (straight from the foil, toasted or frozen). So if you ever find yourself with a hot fudge sundae, cookies and creme, or chocolate fudge flavor, we think freezing them is a total game changer. We’re on same page on that pumpkin pie and the Oreos though 😃 SO GOOD!

Oooooh - loved this video. I like my pop tarts toasted. This was really fun. You had some really cool pop tart flavours that I’d love to try! In the U.K. you can occasionally get the strawberry or apple pop tarts, if your lucky - but they are a bit boring. I’ve tried the confetti cupcake pop tarts that I got from a specialist American shop and really liked them. But for me, I’d rather have the actual item than the pop tart flavour every time. I’d really love to try those Oreo Most Stuf cookies though, we don’t get them here. 😋
Like most things in America, there are just too many options 😆😆 They’re definitely fun but, if having the real things is accessible and practical, you’re not missing out on much in our opinion. Most Stuf Oreos on the other hand (and all the varieties of Oreo in general here) get us every time 🤤🤤
