    This guy is a great teacher. Very understanding of his students and tries very hard to make sure all of them are following at the same pace. He constantly reads them to make sure and is very open to questions no matter how basic or menial they may be to every other teacher. I wish I had him for HS/College because then I probably wouldn't be on this video

    I'm a college student preparing for calculus 1 next semester and this video was a really good review for me! I loved hearing your students questions and your following response. It is apparent they are actively thinking about the problems and that you care about helping them think it through.
    You have been able to make your class lighthearted, yet have kept it interesting and maintained the attention, control, and respect of your students. That is no easy feat, especially for their age group!
    Thank you for the video, but thank you most for being the very special kind of teacher that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives as someone who genuinely cared about their education and motivated them to be successful! We need more educators like you!

    r is a distance (think of the circle). points in the circle can have any sort of coordinates, the radius is always the distance from the centre to any point on top of the circle, for that reason is always positive.

    An abstract way to explain it is that a circle cannot have a negative size and the diameter of the circle is r * 2 so logically 'r' must always be a positive.

    here is a simple and very helpful method to remember sin , cos and tan. Its just a sentence look.
    "Some people have curly black hair through proper brushing"
    Here,
    Some = sin
    people = perpendicular
    Have = Hypotenuse
    SO ,
    sin = perpendicular / hypotenuse
    Now,
    curly = cos
    black = base
    hair = hypotenuse
    SO,
    cos = base / hypotenuse
    Now,
    through = tan
    proper = perpendicular
    brushing = base
    SO,
    tan = perpendicular / base
