    So I think a cool bit of information to know for this (there's a ton of info I could dump cause this Cinematic goes into a whole bunch of lore of the League of Legends world) is that this video centers around the concept of Time & Death. It takes place during the past, present, and future and during all of those times & events, Death is there.
    Death is personified in the League of Legends World and in this video by the creatures you see at the end (collectively known as 'Kindred', individually known as Lamb (the white creature with a bow) and Wolf (the Wolf creature) fighting the barbarian (Tryndamere). Lamb gives people a peaceful death if they accept it, but Wolf hunts down and gives a painful death to those who run from their death.
    In Tryndamere's first scene, we see him hurt and surrounded by enemies. In the last segment, we see him fighting Kindred . . . literally fighting off Death. In the League video game, Tryndamere's ultimate ability is called 'Undying Rage' which makes him unable to die for a short period of time after using it. He is literally too angry to die. We see him entering this Undying Rage when his eyes turn red in the video, and he refuses to die from his situation. He's fighting off Kindred (death) but in the real world, he is most likely fighting off his attackers.
    Then we see Kindred lower their bow when the other person arrives (Ashe - Tryndamere's wife), signaling that Tryndamere is no longer in danger of dying and thus Kindred has no reason to hunt him anymore.
    The cool thing about this bit of lore being introduced by the Cinematic, is the idea that every time Tryndamere uses his Undying Rage ability in game, he's literally fighting off Death as he does.
    If you're interested in more the lore behind the cinematic, I recommend looking up 'Necrit's' Still Here Lore Video.

      Adding to this, the first longer scene shows two sisters who got angel like powers. while the purple one tends to not wanna use them and believes in teh people the white one is basicly going religious zealot. the sisters name are kayle and morgana. when morgana takes the dark power and binds the monster they fight, the sideview of her sisters with utter disgust shows that she even in this situation disaproves it. they i think never speak again and morgana binds her wings to walk with the humans and stuff but i am not that deep into the lore xD the monster they fight is immortal thats why kindred is not fighting it even its shown in the fire in the end. this plays in the past
      so not really "teamwork makes dreamwork" as they literally never fight again as this move disgusted kayle
      in the second scene playing in the future showing an old fighter who is in the presence still young fighting off the attackers of the city as good as he can killing the last one of the close attackers but then in the very end hundrets of arrows come down on him and he accept death, therefore the white arrow from the white lamb (kindred) reaches him before they do and gives him a peaceful fast death.
      the last one was so good explained from dangers i cant add anything
      i am also not playing league so my knowledge is also more on the basic level xD
      this video baiscly shows death is still here, in the past in the presence and in the future, death is always here

      @@DaxRaider pretty accurate besides that the first scene is not kayle and morgana breaking up. This happened later. So after that fight, Kayle probably gave back the sword to morgana. Also Kayle was disgusted of morg because morg left the sword of her mother behind to focus on magic. At this time magic wasnt forbidden in demacia.

      @@lightrateproductions190 The beginning of season cinematics are usually representations of what happens in the lore with an epic music on top. The 2023 one was neither of these. It's just the camera going through the Summoner's Rift (the main map of the game). The 2024 one (this one) is the first cinematic where the events are 100% canon, meaning they actually happened like that.
      I'd recommend watching "The Call" (Season start cinematic of 2022) and "Awaken", same but for 2021 iirc 🤔. It might be older, I lost track 😅.

    4:16 The closed eyes don't mean all hope is lost. He knows very well that he can easily win, but he doesn't want to use his the wind technique. This is just a vision of the future, but in present times and the past, Yasuo has killed many people using the wind technique. It seems that in this vision, he was done with that. That's why he was fighting with a stick at first. In this scene, he ends up picking up the blade, but he doesn't kill a single person. He doesn't even draw blood.
    4:56 This pose is the same as the one he did in the "The Climb" video, when making a wind wall. Basically, it's suggesting that he accepts death even though he could easily parry the arrows.

    • @SusPect1
      @SusPect1 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Actually, though, he killed them one last time, but as far as I know, they can't put blood in it, because Tencent owns riot games and therefore can't have blood in it if everything is true. But he killed them and in the end, unfortunately, Yasuo died. And yes, as you wrote, he accepts death, so from "Kindred" the Lamb comes for him and can carry him to the afterlife in peace, not as if the Wolf comes for him.

      no he didnt kill any, if you look through the fight you see him using the wind to knock them out but never slashing or cutting, in the end when he uses the tornado on the last guy it was after he saw all the arrows rain down on him and the guy, so he pushed him out of the way, saving one more person before his own end@@SusPect1

    Dude at the end is Tryndamere. Wolf and archer he is fighting are Wolf and Lamb, the "violent end" and "Sweet embrace" aspects of death. They're two halves of one entity named Kindred, they are basically the reaper in this universe.
    He's fighting against death itself (His ability in game is undying rage), lamb is confused why he fights it (the head tilt), and his wife (Ashe, the lady archer with the ice bow) comes to his rescue.
    Also, Kindred is in all four scenes.
    Kindred (Lamb) outline in the forest opening
    Kindred (Lamb) outline in the flames when kayle (white wing lady) attacks
    Kindred (Wolf eyes/head) in the forest when Yasuo (Samurai/ronin scene) closes his eyes after using his tornado, and lamb's arrow coming in
    And of course the fight with tryndamere at the end.
    Video point is death is never far in this world, and no matter if it's past present or future (Kayle/Morg scene is distant past, Yasuo scene is possible future, and trynd/kindred/ashe is preset), death is still here. I think :)

    so in the beginning the shadowy figure in the sand had both the sillouhette of ashe the last female and Lamb (Kindred) the one he was fighting right before ashe shown up. it shows foreshadowing and his thoughts all together; am i going to die? i gotta fight to stay alive. getting up and then ashe showing up. both kindred and ashe may have been on his mind as ashe is his symbol and meaning of life while on the opposite spectrum kindred is universally the symbolic bringer of death in their culture.

    the part where the old character (yasuo) closes his eyes at the arrival of the arrow is not because he has lost hope, but is an alternative vision of his life given by the kindred character who appears as a lamb and the fox (which is seen in the fighting in the snow), for she is death, and it would be an alternative vision of her life if she had left the way of the sword, and in that comment she closed her eyes out of sheer self-loathing for having to use the sword again sword art

  • @Style50360
    @Style50360 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +29

    6:28 Not really the foreshadowing you are thinking of. Let me try to explain.
    The shadowy figure we see in the beginning is Kindred (a spirit god that embody death). Tryndamere (Sean Bean) is fighting Kindred and her wolf to survive. Basically he is fighting off death (he has an ability in the game, which allows him to become immortal for a period of time). Kindred and her wolf is a symbolic representation of the horrible situation Tryndamere is in. He is not literally fighting her and the wolf, but the henchmen we see in the beginning and end of the cinematic. Eventually he is saved by his wife Ashe, just before his immortality runs out.
    These cinematics can only be fully comprehended if you know the lore behind it. A little sad in my opinion, but they still rock regardless.

      His "immortality" doesn't run out. The game's abilities are based on the lore, not the other way around. Tryndamere's undying rage is literally him fighting off the Kindred. As long as the Kindred don't subdue him, he'll live. (In the lore, Lamb and Wolf are known as "the Kindred", not "Kindred". It's unrelated, but it's the same thing with Volibear.)

    • @Kingofredeyes
      @Kingofredeyes 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That doesn't exactly explain Kindred. Both the lamb and the wolf are the same being, and represent two sides of death. To those who accept death lamb offers a painless arrow to bring them peacefully to the afterlife. To those who run and try to avoid death wolf chases them down and rips them apart. This is why in the cinematic wolf is the primary one fighting Tryn as he keeps fighting and resisting death, Kindred, although for him that is less his will and more the curse Aatrox placed on him so that he couldn't die.

    @baliktas 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    My favourite scene is the last one. THat guy with long hair and no armor is Tryndamare, and he is a Berserker. He basicly gets stronger when he gets enraged and that's when his eyes turns red.
    Other guy with the arrow and the wolf is Kindred. She is a figure of death. She doesn't grief, she doesn't hesitate. She simply takes the one who's time has come.
    When Try is surrounded he is facing death, therefore he can see Kindred but others can't. Try doesn't give up the fight, even against The Death. As you can see in the fight, he gets enraged and nearly kills Kindred. This is why Kindred tilted her head, she was suprised and confused. Actually Kindred had a shot to Try and she coud have killed him, but the woman with the bow -Ashe-appeared at the last moment and saved her husband Tryndamare. This is not because Kindred is afraid of Ashe or something like that. This is because when Ashe appeared, Kindred realised His time has not come yet. So she pulled back.
    You can see when Kindred's siluette dissapearing and becoming Ashe, when Ashe shoots 2 arrows to the attackers everywhere around the arrows gets illimunated, and when Try sees his wife Ashe, you can see that his eyes turns back to normal. Because by Ashe simply being there, Tryndamare felt safe and protected. And besides that, in the previous scene old swordsman Yasuo's life is ended by an arrow - Kindred's arrow - while trying to protecting the innocent. Truly amazing details...
    I'm simply leaving a link here, so you can dig in deeper in this game's amazing lore:

    2:06 The movie 300 actually has nothing to do with this. These are events that happened in the lore of League of Legends (except old Yasuo, that's a vision). The warrior at the beginning and in the 3rd sequence is the Barbarian King Tryndamere. Because of a previous event in the lore (not shown in this cinematic), Tryndamere got "infected" with blood magic which makes him too angry to die (symbolized by the red eyes). That scene happens in present times. The first sequence happens ~1000 years ago. The Darkin Aatrox attacked the region of Demacia and the twin sisters Kayle (yellow one) and Morgana (purple one) defended it.
    If you want a detailed breakdown of the lore of any League of Legends video, Necrit always makes a video explaining everything 🤓.

    You are getting downvotes from people, because you didn't watch it in its entirety before doing a breakdown. When you take in art, you should absorb it the way it was meant to. Hit play, watch it, then rewatch it after with a breakdown. You missed music interaction with the video, you missed pacing, you missed fast forwards, frame cutting, slowdowns, all because you stopped the video constantly.
