  • This is just a quick video showing some of the modifications I have done recently. This doesn’t show the process, just showing the finish results, and talking about some of the process.

    Really enjoy what you've done with the Griptilians you've shown. I like that knife, but it's definitely plain as it comes from the factory. Maybe I need to look for some custom scales for mine.

      Thanks man. It definitely makes the knife feel a lot more premium.

    That’s awesome. If I were trying to recreate the battle green on a vintage skinner, would a green ano tumbled and re ano’d bronze come close?

    I hate to have to ask this as it's not related to your video but I figure you may know, what happened to Banter 247? Did he pull his channel?

    Hey brother. I have a question for you. Can S35vn be blackwashed? I'm thinking of doing it on my Recon 1 Spear Point S35vn Desert Warrior Edition. Please let me know 👍⚔️🇺🇲

      @inthepocket7405  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey buddy. Yes, you can acid wash S35vn, no problem. Just check it periodically through the process to get your desired color.

      Yes I did. I did a bronze fade to a purple, but I did end up selling it.

    Dude Kenny always wondered if u throw polishing compound like metal polish will it give it a polished stonewash???

    • @inthepocket7405
      @inthepocket7405  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It might make it cut more, but I think have to actually polish the blade after the stonewash, to do that properly. I’m not too versed with the method, but that’s the way I would try to accomplish it. Maybe if you change the media👍

    • @dombond6515
      @dombond6515 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@inthepocket7405 ya dude! Just polishing compound and small media small ceramic that will polish. Maybe even round media. I know some makers use some type of gemstones to stonewash and give affect! Idk bro if your willing to try I'll order some polishing compounds and send it your way!!!

    • @inthepocket7405
      @inthepocket7405  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cool man! Yeah, I will definitely be trying that in the future. I have a lot of shit coming up, so i don’t know if I’m going to be doing much mod work, but we will see.
