blood dk is also an active mitigation tank, so armor, dodge, parry are all way less valuable…when your active mitigation is essentially unbothered, it makes sense to an extent that you would still actively mitigate even if you have less passive mit. the gap between plate and cloth for DK is wayyyyy smaller than it is for pally/warr. that said, this was funny and blood is turbo-overturned regardless haha
The gap between a dk and a block tank in passive mitigation is around 10% at the end of phase 2. Factor in their active mitigation and you get the current state of cata
As a paladin main BDK is just super frustrating to have around. Hell I'm guilty of having one to solo content that my paladin doesn't stand a chance at. 370 gear means nothing when healers go OOM over long fights, and avoidance cap is non existent right now. Gone are the days of 102.4% avoidance.
@@gwallace5403 I have a prot pally that I stopped playing in phase one, did a bunch of BH and was about to start raiding tier 11 but lost interest, you think it’s worth farming valor to catch up and get into FL?
@@notafortnitegamer depends what you like doing/playing. I like having all the utility spells that my paladin has but if I wasn't as invested in it I would certainly be playing death knight for how easy it is. You can get practically everything 372 now from the vendor if you're willing to do enough grinding. Gets pretty grindy but that's the nature of the game.
For sure, this is an exceptional effort and I respect it. But in my opinion, it tells nothing about balance because I am pretty sure that 99% players are not able to do this.
Idk, he did it with alts on heroic. That’s kinda silly. I feel like this is one of those scenarios where the math simply works out, just use your CDs when you’d traditionally need to and run it. Lets be real though, it probably isn’t BETTER than plate. But it’s still better than pally/warr

Nah, this is eye opening to how strong dk as a class is. Blood only precedes to get stronger in MoP.
Blizzard is trash and not do any effort for balance classes: the video.
Its classic, this was possible in original cata just nobody did it.
