He came over to Ontario in 2004 to give soccer classes to some of our senior coaches. He had all the guys cracking up with his sense of humor. After the class many other coaches who knew I was a fellow Scott came over to me and said that I was very lucky to have such a brilliant man as a national coach "manager"
When you get older , I'm 57,and the guys you thought would be around forever start to pass away, you realise that life is short and the legacy you leave behind matters more than your perceived accomplishments. R.I.P Craig, your up their with the greats.

I remember after a Scotland defeat, him droning on about Scotland getting more corners. Summed the guy up in my opinion, always hiding behind statistics, then there was the taking the players off the park when a light meter said it was to dark, then writing into the papers praising himself under an assumed name(his bird he was cheating on, grassed him up), he was liked by the shortbread kilty mob, which says it all.
Brought us so many memories. A true icon to Scotland ❤ rest in peace
