I'm leaning towards Barb upon watching this one again. She's standing in the group when Chris' sword lights up. In the same scene, she demands everyone stays until the killer is found. First, deflection of blame, second, forcing everyone to stay allows the killer to keep murdering.
In the next few episodes, she's never in the same room as Chris again, so can't be detected.
We also have yet to hear an inner monologue for her, or see a scene where she's by herself, unlike almost all the others save Adam(?).
There's some evidence against Miles as well, but I don't think it's as substantial as the points against Barb.
Two extra things: based on Chris' sword, assuming it's correct, it HAS to be either Barb, Adam, or Miles, as they're the only ones present with Chris and are still around.
Also, she clearly didn't make a real effort to save Ryan, who is the most obvious to blame. With him still alive, she has someone to point to who makes more sense than her.

There is an old RT Short called “Secret Door” where Burnie, Geoff, and Gus was cloning Gavin.
If Chris's sword truly detects "so called evil" then if you look no body really moved when it stopped glowing. So it had to be somebody who wasn't in the group or that shot. So it could be burnie, Ryan, or Lindsey.

Miles, Chris, and Lindsay confuse me though. I don't think the murderer would be Chris, because he's the one with the weapon. Miles did come in contact with Adam's beard... So that makes me think it was either Miles or Lindsay. Maybe Lindsay was martyred after both Gavin and Michael were in heaven together, leaving it to be Miles, but I still think it could be Lindsay. Red Herrings are also a thing haha.
I believe Gavin will die next week, tripping over himself on a treadmill, "Running from fate." Who the murderer is though... but this is a great nod to the book 10 little indians which I haven't read but have heard of.

A state's population determines how many seats that state has in the House of Representatives. The 3/5ths compromise is about back when slavery was a thing, there was a debate between the northern free states and the southern slave states about slaves counting as a people or not. So they compromised and said that slaves count as 3/5ths of a person in terms of the population for the House.

I can see why people believe this is Gavin (over his clone), and Chris (over his Hobbit feet), and I can agree with these, but we also have to take into considderation that Gavin or Chris could fit another line of the riddle...

Something I forgot to mention was Adams death, however/whenever that may be. On his picture in his envelope, it said "the point we just can't take... anymore. Right, Adam?" This is a lyric from the RWBY theme song, and one of the weapons of choice, as stated on the RT website, is a crescent rose sythe. So ye. Something to throw out there.
This is one of the first rooster videos I watched, right after red vs blue season 1, so I had no ideas who most of the people were. It's nice coming back after learning more about the employees.

The killer is Mico. His symptoms are similar to cyanide poisoning (coughing and gasping for air), but if it was mixed in with his drink it would have taken hours to kill (less if he had an empty stomach). So he must have faked his own death.
Also the killer had no idea what Michael was going to do, and no reason to poison him, unless they knew what he was going to do.
Than again he may have told Lindsay, who was also pretty happy that they have great health insurance. . . .
I need more clues.

There is one thing that still keeps bothering me. When discussing if clones count as plus 1's, Lindsay says that they count as 3/5 of a person. Burnie then says stop bringing 1 and 1/5 more people than you're meant to. 1 and 1/5 = 6/5 = 3/5 * 2. Burnie specifically says MORE, so plus Gavin, there should be two clones as the maths shows. This means there is an extra clone somewhere.
It might have just been a mistake, or I might just be overthinking it. But it is pretty cool to think about.

The writer says the video was re-edited and they had to take Gav2 out to fix a clipping issue. It's not related to the mystery.
Gus isn't in his seat during the two Gavins conversation, then when Michael clears his throat, he's there. He could have rushed over to sit down during Burnie's close up, I guess. Also, there's a wine glass sitting on the table at Gus' assigned chair (assigned since Michael had envelopes for specific people under their seats,) this make me wonder if the poisoned wine was actually intended for Gus from the start. We know the second wine wasn't poisoned since he drank it, and I don't think he'd leave a poisoned glass of wine unattended for anyone to pick up and drink, especially if he intended for it to kill Michael.

In conclusion, the "martyr" and "streamed live" lines are the most ambiguous. It seems to me that with "draw dicks" and "died of a pun" that Barbara dies, so also ambiguous. This leaves suspicion to Gus, Burnie, Barbara, and Lindsay, who didn't show up at all for me.

tkpwns Some of these are intentionally throwing you off. For example, we know Barbara survives until at least the Final 7, but that doesn't necessarily mean she dies straightaway on reaching seven just because she was mentioned (nor does it mean that she makes it to the Final 6, as her inability to keep count shows). Nor does it mean that she fell victim to one of her own puns; she could just be the first person to lampshade the pun once they find the body (or set up Burnie to say "Goddammit Barb" after she's already dead).
"Life imitates art" may not necessarily be referring to the dick pictures; it could refer to any art or media made within Rooster Teeth. Could even mean Lindsay's death involves the cat piano.
"Often streamed live" just means that the 6 survivors at that point have all shown up on the podcast, or The Patch. It likely means that Adam dies before this point.
Tripping over oneself could refer to anything; Gavin's clone would be the most obvious, but that could just be a red herring (although the plurality of the statement - themselves - really makes any other answer a stretch). It could also refer to Chris' cape, Ryan's kilt, or even Barbara/Lindsay/Adam's hair.
The real clue to the murderer is that "Only one of you has committed cold-blooded murder": Miles. (Watch the RT Lifes.)

The "one died to scale" line confuses me. I think they're referring to the bathroom scale on the weapons list. Can't tell who is supposed to die on it.. Maybe Gus since he often streams live (podcast, patch).

This really is one of the best shows RT has ever done in my opinion. It really makes you want to see the next episode, but also keeps you thinking.

While far-fetched, the Gavin two clone theory or whatever is intriguing XD My initial thought is that the killer at least isn't Miles since he doesn't have a death on his hands, at least not evidenced with a picture like everyone else

HerosBane2854 Let's gather the facts together:
1) Miles was combing Gilby's beard with a fork. Possible suspicion.
2) I you noticed, the poison glass was placed earlier. Killer left glass on purpose so that someone right handed - like Gus - could go give the drink to Michael. Far-fetched but still a longshot.
3) my observation: during Michael and Lindsay conversation, and Gus' and Chris' convo, the cat piano meows were not heard. Possible conclusion: Barbs might have enough time to add the poison glass.
4) The sword didn't glow at Chris and Miles. So I think it's safe to say that they're innocent for now.
5) According to Gus, there were beard hairs in the glass. Might suggest that Miles or Gilby or Burnie might be the killer, but we can't say for sure.
In my opinion, besides Miles and Chris, I believe that Gavin and Lindsay can be innocent; Ryan may be a stretch, but the possibility still stands. That leaves with Burnie, Gilby, Barbs, and Gus. I'm might be making good deductions, but there's too little evidence to make a solid conclusion.
I started feeling sad when Gavin tried to help Michael.

Gavin is the killer because lindsey said that clones are 3/5 of a person and burnie said you cant start bringing 1 1/5 of people.

That would mean that those gavins were both clones and he wasnt there.

Okay, here we go : The killer is Miles. Michael said that only one of them was guilty of REAL/non accidental cold blooded murder. The only one who didn't get proper information on his "sin" is Miles (he only had dick pictures). Chris' blade started to shine when pointed at a group that included Miles, and the light "conveniently" went off as he was about to get tested. Plus the beard hair in the drink (Miles was taking care of Adam's beard). But, more than everything, it's Miles because we can deduce
who dies on every single line :
9 roosters left => one trips over themselves while 'running from fate". 2 options as many said : Gav + clone or Chris (remember what Gus said). I chose to go for Chris, because the LOTR blade is an inconvenience for Miles/the killer, as it could expose him. He will make sure Chris dies first.
8 roosters left ==> one was martyred => The only person we know the religion of (because it's pointed out/joked about pretty often) is Miss Dunkelman (jewish), so that could be her. Could also be Lindsay, killed by the others (not by the killer) because she's too obvious of a suspect (life insurance, bitchy-ass attitude and all). Could be either one but would rather go for Barb'
7 roosters left ==> one liked to draw dicks, life imitated art ==> They make you think it's either Miles or Barb in the first episode, but in the history of the company, the most well-known for his knob-drawing and dick-referencing is Gavin. He will choke on dicks and die.
6 roosters left ==> streamed live, died to scale. Obviously either Gilby or one of the podcast members. But we can be 99% it's Gus, for 2 reasons : first, he his the most iconic figure of the podcast, and second, "died to scale" is a reference to Mini-Gus, which he killed in an old RT short.
5 roosters left ==> trapped in the floor, ran out of air ==> Ryan for sure. They want to make you think he is the killer because of all the Mad King legacy... But his punishment will be fitting the treatment he gave Edgar ==> He'll die suffocating under the ground, and be The One In The Hole.
4 roosters left ===> Trying to flee, one got what they wanted ==> They are trying to point to Lindsay, who talked about Micoo life insurance... But I think it's not her, but Adam. He wants to be a professionnal swimmer. He will drown to death while trying to flee.
3 roosters left ==> died of a pun : Burnie will be set on fire, hence Burnie Burns. Need I say more ?
Then Miles will be killed, because he is the killer. Knowing the options, the last man standing will be either Lindsay or Chris. Lindsay would fit more with the things I just said and she would be suspected of being the killer until the end so that would make a great show. But I'm still not sure it won't be Chris, because Miles is his "best friend", because he has a weapon, and because he has the "naive loser-hero" vibe to him in this series.

This was actually pretty fucking hilarious and I thought they were just going to have little funny jokes here and there, but it was EVERYWHERE =D Good camera work too. Makes me really excited about Lazer Team! I feel sorry for whoever is subscribed and didn't watch this series! =D

It's obvious that Michael is the first one since he has already died in this episode But in the second line it says "one tripped over themselves" Everyone automatically thinks gavin because obviously he's clumsy and themselves is mentioned and that is usually used for Plural use but if you look in the third Rhyme it says "two others in heaven" now it says in the rules that when the Gavin's die they both die as a pair and Michael is already dead and I'm not good with math but I'm pretty sure two plus one equals three so how can only two be in heaven so I think for the next week Chris dies because in the Beginning Gus is complaining about Chris hobbit feet and that he is "tripping all over the place" and if that's not a Foreshadowing then I don't know what it is that's at least my opinion and I hope this helped someone
