I see you are using Lews rod and reel combos. What do do after you get done fishing to keep them from messing up from the saltwater.
And btw we fish there
rinse down with hose as soon as im home. I spray a Lews line and reel protectant on the reel before a trip.

Yes
Grew up fishing those waters, the rock jetty on the north side of the Bridge holds a lot of nice reds and sheepshead. Glad y’all got to enjoy our waters. Heading your way tomorrow to fish the pcola pier!
Move up into those canals with houses , that’s where those flounder are. I’ve fished Slidell! My uncle lives off of lake Pontchartrain
I know where that launch is! Only about a 45 min drive from my house on Old 90 by Fort Pike. Gotta try that spot now.
That's a really convenient spot. I fish just across the water straight out from fort Pike. About am 18 minute paddle.
