Hey Mega! New subscriber here. I'm having a hard time choosing between Akko Creamy Yellow V3 Pro, Akko Piano, and Akko CS Silver. When it comes to Poppiness and Marbliness, which one will you prefer? Thanks
Cs pianos, are basically zakus, and has a fuller sound compared to that of the yellows, but the yellows have a sort of deeper sound to them, but still kinda similar
Personally, for gaming you just have to get a switch you can type and use for extended periods of time without the fatigue, and the sound of the board is atleast not annoying to you! :)
hi there, i ordered gmk67 with akko cream yellow v3 PRO with SA profile keycap, and further research i founded that the PRO version is not as thocky as non PRO one as it is more higher pitch pop sound, i have not yet seen someone else building keyboard with gmk67 with the cream yellow v3 PRO, so im just wonder with all that fact, gmk67, cream yellow v3 pro and SA keycap, with mods, will my keyboard come out as thock deep sound?
@@itsnotleobruh i really just used what was in the tiger 80 so not too many mods were done, it had PE foam and its own tempest mod and its foam under the PCB is all :)
I had an extremely different experience comparing the non-pro vs pro. I've lubed (krytox) them both and the pro version is noticeably clackier, almost as though it hadn't been lubed. Pretty annoyed that I spent all of that time and can't get the same sound signature as I had on my other board. Put the lubed pro switches on other boards, comparing it to the non-pro and it's all the same. The deep creamy thock is missing. Hope this helps lol
You just have to keep the mic close to the board, so you get more of the keyboard sounds than the noise in the room, that and alot of other factors too
Well random guy on the internet, first off, i was describing the switch as clacky, whatever happens to it on a keyboard, tiger80 lite in this case, is the way the keyboard is, with most of my switch reviews i did it on a tiger80 lite, to keep it consistent. And this is how a clacky switch works on a tiger80 lite, if it was a deeper sounding switch, it would be different and thockier as well i hope this helps
Hey great review bro, when you lubed this switch did you just add It on top of the factory lubed?
Funny thing is, i didnt lube it! Its really good as is!
Nice vid mate, definitely a cool switch
Predecessor means the ones before. The v3 non pro were the predecessors to the pro
Thanks, missed that lol

Thank you! Honestly i would go for the cream yellow pros! Best budget out of all of them, but, if budget is no issue id go for the pianos :)
Hello! Any updates on what switches you chose? And the experience
Hello!! Is this switches lubed from the factory?? Thanks for answering!!
They are! On the rails
@@Mega_Keys Thanksss, I think I'll buy it because it is so good at its price!! 👍👍
@@KH2420_ they're a steal for what they are
@@Mega_Keys I know rightttt
what do you think is better The v3 or v3 pro?
like what sounds more thocky also what does it sound when lubed?
Personally, I think these two are meant to be clacky, so not really thocky.
And both are lubed:)
How do they feel compared to matcha green? Heavier or lighter or similar?
They are similar i would say
How good do you think the CS Pianos are compared to the Cream Yellow v3s and the cream yellow v3 pros?
Cs pianos, are basically zakus, and has a fuller sound compared to that of the yellows, but the yellows have a sort of deeper sound to them, but still kinda similar
Lets gooo brooo!!
Thanks my dude! ❤❤
What is your favorite akko switch? I have cs crystal rn but think of trying out something else
Hmmm right now I'm really cought between the pianos and piano pros,
But I'm also liking the cream blacks
I do also like the lavender purple pro
Can't really say i have a favorite
@@Mega_Keys do you think cream blacks or cream yellows are better?
I need help. What switch opener do i use for the Akko yellow cream v3 pro???
I recommend buying the cheapest aluminum switch openner you can find theyre everywhere
@@Mega_Keys There are so many switches idk what the right one
@@Kryptex_Gaming usually switch openers come in both the kailh and the cherry type openers
And that works on Akko cream yellow v3 pro to?
@@Mega_Keys
@@Mega_Keys So if it has cherry type and kailh switch opener it also works with the Akko yellow cream v3 Pro?
Hi will the cream yellow pro good for gaming too?
It will be for sure!

Well, the cream yellows are really made to be clacky or poppy, not really thocky but i think you'll be pleasantly surprised with your build :)
@@Mega_Keys i hope it will be alright, what mod did you used here, trying to research now what mod can i use to make it sound deeper

rightt yep got it thankyou so much@@Mega_Keys
@@itsnotleobruh sure! Always happy to help!
would u say the new version is louder or not?
Its a very subtle difference, but i would say its slightly deeper

How to edit the sound in this video? I want this kind of sounds when filming my keyboard
Honestly just boosted the sound in the edit
You just have to keep the mic close to the board, so you get more of the keyboard sounds than the noise in the room, that and alot of other factors too
is it better than milky yellow pro?
i would say so
Sponsored by Akko but they did not pay? How exactly does this setup work.
Just really sending them over is all they do
@@Mega_Keys so it should be "akko sent me this switches but they've given liberty of reigns for an honest review"
Do you think they will improve with switch films?
Haven't tried, but tbh theyre already pretty tight so no need to put films in them
@@Mega_Keys but once i open the switches to lube don’t the switch be less tight?
@@dan3thegoat not at all my dude, it will still be tight as long as you use thr right tools!
@@Mega_Keys but they can still fit films right?
@@dan3thegoat they will but im not sure the take aways will be much

Funny review. Says this switch is a clacky then put in a clearly thocky keyboard and proceed to a sound test of a thocky. Haha
there is no such thing as a “thocky keyboard”. the switches may have been lubed
@@SaturnKeys oh please educate me , then are you hearing a high pitch in the video? in its over all sound profile?
@@RandomGuy-tc2yf sounds are different to everyones ear. also the surrounding room will help with making a different sound.
clack and thock are subjective. some people might say this is thocky some people may say clacky
