im really nervous for the movie. ive read the first book and im halfway through the 2nd but the movie seems too much different from the books. idk

bananaduckproduction I've read the entire series and I've been waiting for this movie for years and I'm terrified ;-;
I feel like you just described my life and everything I've ever watched hahaha. Okay so the way I deal with the differences when stories are adapted into film is to see the movie or tv show or whatever as complimentary material. That way you can't be disappointed because then it's just extra content of something you enjoyed so it's just like a tasty dessert after your meal. Like I watched True Blood before reading the book and then read the book an hated a lot of the changes and couldn't stand how different some of the relationships were so I just read it like a fanfiction and was just happy I had more time in the True Blood world. If that makes sense? :') I changed my outlook from being 'GOD I HATE THIS WHY IS IT NOT THE SAME' to 'YESSSSS TASTY BONUS CONTENTTTTT GIVE ME MOARRRR' hahahaha.
