- Hey zombaes! Bringing you another creepy take on a classic halloween costume - the vampire! Some vampires are cute but this one... not so much. If you want to be gross and scary, but still want to wear something easy, quick and cheap- this is the makeup tutorial for you! All levels can do this, whether it's your first time playing in fx makeup or your 3000th time. Sometimes the simpler costumes are the most effective!
Products used and mentioned:
To block out brows : non toxic glue stick, powder, and concealer
Matte red, orange, and maroon eyeshadows (sugarpill pro palette and melt dark matter stack)

Well, there's that.. At the risk of angering the Twilight fans though, I hardly count them because they deviate just a bit too far from vampiric traits for my taste. Also wasn't a big fan of the books, which I did read a bit of just to see what the big deal was about. Writing style didn't do it for me

I thought maybe you could do the dollar store makeup challenge or do a twist where you do an fx look with only cheaper halloween store supplies, i think thatd also be helpful for those who only want to do a look for halloween and need more accessible things, rather than start a kit!
You seem to be the only artist who understands that these looks need to look violent, gory and disgusting for them to be effective and realistic. I see so many tutorials of people trying to look pretty while creating a gory look. Really love your work.

CDavis15 the Longest part is waiting for the latex to dry. I did a similar look a few halloweens ago and all in all it took about 45 minutes and most of that was waiting for the latex to dry

That's my favorite vampire makeup there is! Genuinely scary and accurate like how they're meant to be. I feel like most women do makeup to be beautiful and just have blood dripping from the sides while you got a more realistic approach 👏

Yes/Sort of! However you'll need to add a little bit of water to the glue so it won't be as thick!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the school glue (Elmer's)isn't toxic :) lol it just takes a couple of minutes to fully dry

Is Ripley ever scared of you when you do some of your gore/SFX tutorials? Also, I'm confused about the difference between scab blood and regular blood... help! ILYSM!!!💖
I could be dressed head to toe as a monster and she wouldn't flinch ahhah. And scab blood is thick, and stays in place. If you use a thin layer of it, it ends up drying into what looks like a scab, kinda! I like it a lot because if I want to pack a wound with blood, scab blood will stay in there as opposed to regular blood which is thin and drippy.
