Thank you for the fine video of your Jeep. I too, like others in the comment section have become an owner of a WW2 CJ, though mine will never have the authentic restoration of this one! I am jealous of your siren! It is hard to imagine how our late age appreciation of what these machines are, is so contrasted to what the troops would have felt, stepping into them to use them in life or death situations in war. My Dad was in North Africa as a transport officer, and he is long passed as I get into old age myself. The nostalgia of such war memorabilia is magnetic in charm to those of us who can only imagine the horror in WW2.
I learned how to drive an m38 surplus army jeep with a big star on top of the hood when i was 16 yrs old. I wish i could have another m38 jeep while i could still drive but its quite rare now in the Philippines.
A very beautiful jeep indeed! I too am using the Solex carb on mine. Hope my M-38 comes out as beautiful as your! Bravo! Great job and thanks for your video!
at this time you can seldom buy spare parts for any ww11 willys jeep the moment I can see this jeep I remind me year 1967 we convert this jeep into a public passenger jeep

I can't put into words how nice that is done. Superb. I am a follower now as I am redoing a 1946 CJ-2A civilian model. This will inspire me. Thanks.
