    Muito interessante--aprendi espanhol antes de começar a estudar português, e pelo que entendi é que em espanhol, o verbo "haber" (haver em português) pode ser usado de forma intercambiável com "ter" para falar sobre a existência de algo. Outros cursos de português pelos quais passei ensinaram o mesmo - que "haver" ou "ter" pode significar "there is" ou "there are".
