- We are at the LOZ (Lake of the Ozarks) for the 4th points paying stop of the 2022 season. I have had one of the toughest practices I have ever had. The thing that gets me about this place is that there is a ton of fish in this lake. The only problem is most of them are in the 1lb to 2lb range and they have to be 2 lbs to count this week.

Your composure when things are not going your way is something that I really admire. Setting a good example for a lot of young kids watching.
Felt bad for you guys while watching. Lake of the Ozarks has a TON of bass. But that's the problem... there are a TON of small fish there. On the other hand, there are also a TON of hogs. I have fished the lake quite a bit, and have learned that the old saying "big baits catch big fish" definitely applies at this lake. Hope you guys come back. I love Lake of the Ozarks and loved the video!!! Keep up the great work!

Bud I really hope you see this comment!!!! This lake wrecks boats, tackle, and tough mental fortitude! It's a tough lake that should always be on the list such a wild card. I hate it and love i, but good for the season. Gives an underdog a real good chance at winning in my opinion. Good luck the rest of the season!!

Funny because i was watching and his swim bait had run up the line so it shot outta the water right when he turned the fish at the back of the boat and i tight the same for a second or two.

Welcome to spring in Missouri. I’m 2 hrs NE of Lake of the Ozarks and that some covered the whole state. I wanted to go that weekend of that tournament and meet you and Jacob Wheeler but wasn’t able to make it down there. Be glad y’all didn’t go close to a holiday weekend or that water woulda been rough as hell.

I would love to see the league come back to Table Rock with a 2lb minimum. Or even 1-8 versus 1lb.
I was thinking the same thing. Table rock is full of 2-3lb fish with a bunch of solid fish over 5. All 4 species is pretty cool also.
Love your channel Dustin, you're prolly to busy to reply, but I have question: why doesn't forward facing play a roll in this event ?
Forward facing sonar really shines when they are off the bank. It is almost a none factor fishing the bank
Only time I ever got good bass on Lake of the Ozarks was using live crawfish.

I was hoping that you would nail a good bed fish . With the obvious amount of fry gaurder's thought you would have hit the staging areas. Should have thrown that jerk bait and walking top water.
Other than a hex whats a cheaper rod for fishing a wacky around docks live on hartwell so we do it all the time and what action and length?
How about a quarter oz in line spinner black chartreuse tail. It seems to catch me the bigger dinks just a thought.
I blame it on Jacob for making the statement you can catch 100 bass and only like 8-9 will be scoreable
