Love frog legs. Mmmm. Stewed tomatoes are interesting, wonder what the breaded part is all about. Will check that out. What a sweet and beautiful town, those old buildings are so nicely kept up. Looks so cool and the DYE house and battlefield tour very very interesting. Thanks so much, Barry. Really enjoy the history. Karla in Cali.
We took our son and two of his good buddies on his 8 or 9th birthday, and it was so cool! My son is now 30, so must have been 2002, don’t hold me to that date, except my son’s BD is October 4, the actual re-enactment is not done every year, but a must see incredible event for sure, with soldier’s riding horses, fighting, campsites, everything was so very realistic as they made it and did feel very authentic watching the excitement take place. Highly recommend going when the next re-enactment comes back around. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Love the Civil War portions of these last couple of videos Barry. My great great grandfather was a General in the civi war. General George Henry Thomas, Batlle of Chickamauga here in Tennesse.

I was at Kroger and found the Grace hot sauce. I had to buy a bottle. It's good hot sauce for sure. Now I too can say i too travel with grace. That amazing grace.
My first husband’s grandmother made stewed tomatoes 🍅 that same way. May she RIP! A fabulous cook. Interesting that she actually lived in Perryville. 😀 When I fix stewed tomatoes I have found that WW Cousins croutons ( made with their homemade buns ) are excellent as the bread in stewed tomatoes. You’re making me want to fix some - darn you Barry. This girl rarely cooks ( or cleans ) anymore. But, I sure enjoy eating. 😂 Have a wonderful week!
I enjoy your videos, I live in Shelbyville Kentucky, I definitely love Kentucky and its history, you did an awesome job explaining about Perryville and the battle that was fought there 👍🏻. Thank you for always sharing your videos right here in Kentucky. Born and raised in Shelby county and very proud of it. Take care and may God watch over you.

Hey Pops! I am a fan of your local food reviews and I’m curious about the kind of equipment you use to shoot your videos. I think you are using some kind of clip-on mic, probably a canon dv recorder and I presume you use an Apple laptop or desktop with some version of Final Cut. The real reason I posted- you need a new intro jingle. The current intro looks dated and I’m a guitar player/ bassist, so I could help you out in that department. One more thing- have you reviewed places that serve beef liver and onions? Beef liver is something that I eat once a week for nutrition reasons and I’d like to go with you on that review. Another thing- check out Louisville’s microbreweries.
Thanks for your input. I use a I-Phone 14. I use clip on mikes that I’m still trying to get use to using correctly. I do not own a computer and do all video and editing on my phone. Although the intro is dated, I have no plans of ever changing it. But thanks for offering to assist me in making a new one. I do not like liver much except for chicken livers dipped in milk-pepper gravy. Beef liver and onions looks great but I can’t stand that dry taste.
That’s why I do the history on the second half so the folks that are not interested don’t have to watch. I’m going to start incorporating things into my reviews that shows more of what Kentucky has to offer.
@@goodallscountrykitchen I like it! Especially since I am looking to relocate down there. It’s always good to know some history of a place before you go there, anyways great show Mr. Goodall and tell them boys at keep it cool with sheets to get going and make more videos
The Bible doesn't have too many good things to say about frogs. In every verse that mentions frogs it's in a negative connotation. I don't think we're supposed to eat them.
2 Timothy 3:16 says all Scripture is given by inspiration of god. The New Testament hadn't been completed yet. What Scripture do you think that was referring to? Jesus constantly referred to the Old Testament. You're in the wrong brother. You can refer to Leviticus to know what meats are acceptable to eat before God. He didn't write it for no reason.
Frog legs are awesome!! Cross between a fresh firm fish and chicken....best description.
