I found on qualcomm website that the Snapdragon 720g is capable of recording Video Capture Color Depth: Up to 10-bit, can devices that use this SOC be able to record 10-bit via mcpro24fps?
Great video! Thx a lot for your effort. Because of you, I discovered the Mcpro24fps app, which has a bit of a learning curve, especially if you want to shoot in 10bit and if one includes the neccesary work in Premiere Pro. I'm still struggling to get a good result after rendering. I use the SDR effect in PP to not having it handle the files as HDR. I shoot with the mlog80 and use the corresponding LUT from the official app's website. And still, I get some strange colors here and there, an overall pretty soft picture and "smeary" motion. The recording in H265 is obligatory to have 10it working on my Galaxy S20+. As what format do you render your 10bit projects? A tutorial on how to color grade and render the 10bit smartphone recordings would be great! Greets from Germany.
I keep getting a very high contrast and saturated image when I shoot withFilmicpro Log v3 on my Galaxy N20 ultra. Shows washed out while recording but the playback image is super contrasty. I tried importing on my pc and it still plays back with the same levels of contrast. What am I doing wrong?
I'm struggling on the results doing test shots with my note 20 ultra on filmic with 10 but vlog3 and the play back is very blown out and very deep contrast contrast I'm at 4k 24fps shutter speed at 48 iso at 200 nd filter on outside and that's my result. What I'm doing wrong
Unfortunately Filmic Pro have not fixed the issue on Android where recording in 10-bit includes HDR metadata. This means video looks wrong in a regular rec 709 colour space. You need to remove the metadata somehow before using the footage. McPro24fps allows you to remove metadata when filming
Did you set it to no gpu in the pixel fps and ratio option?
