Destroying the Double lift roster after that rough worlds showing instead of letting it keep growing another year was the turning point.

Being a longtime TSM fan and seeing how Regi treated all of our favorite players like Dyrus, Wildturtle and then Doublelift. Man it made it feel real good cheering for 100T to slam them.

It was probably one of the few NA rosters that could actually go far internationally, not that they were better than eastern teams but good enough to win on a good day and that's all you need.
But NA had huge mental block during those times, atleast now it feels like they think they can win.
If they just had another year I'm sure they'd give us some upsets at world atleast.
One can always dream, EU fan who followed DL and Bjergsen since the first seasons they played.
Loved that TSM roster so much, they had so much personality.

and don't forget that TL beat IG, the WORLD CHAMPIONS in a best of at MSI.
I'm not saying NA ever had or has a big chance at worlds, but there's a much higher chance than anyone gives them credit for.

if you're just playing around, then you can ignore this comment, but on the chance you're being serious then I wanted to just say that's not exactly how it works :)
Companies do internal investigations all the time. They hire an independent firm to do the investigation, they don't have an internal team do it. Yes, they have control over who they hire to do it, so feel free to be skeptical, but it's not the same as an internal team doing a check. The firm they hire likely takes it very seriously and will have a point of contact that they share the details of their investigation to once they are done with all the interviews, document reviews, going through emails and chat histories etc.

@@Senthin I remember one video where Doublelift shared an instance where one of the players is called Banana or something because Reginald called him useless and just there to give some Bananas, and the investigator asked if that was in a racist manner, like they are dumbfounded and confused, why does race have to be brought in to make it a foul when its just plain bullying in the first place. • @eyeslikeoceans
      @eyeslikeoceans 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

Yeah, if the classic "mid or feed" was a person it'd be Regi.
I always had a bad feeling about him ever since seeing videos in season 2/3, even made a couple reddit threads (yes, I am pathetic :D)
about how he was toxic to the players and an awful head of the org since he was basically a poison slowly ruining everything,
and I can't remember seeing a single person even *somewhat* agree and they'd get furious and remove it pretty fast.
Not like I broke any rules or did it purely flaming him, it was a respectful critique and discussion, though ofcourse I understand that criticising the TSM Top G isn't something they wanna have on there, even from a loving fan.
TSM was basically the North Korea of e-sports teams.
I was just so frustrated that my favorite team was rotting from the inside and no one could taste or smell it.. xdd
It was so crazy to me cause he was openly awful towards the players on VIDEO lmao, imagine how bad it must've been behind closed doors and how he must've been in a non-professional setting.
The spiciest stuff is probably not even known about publicly and people are likely still scared of him, not wanting to risk spilling the beans.
Sorry for the long text, I doubt anyone will even read it but I will always feel dissapointed about these amazing players and personalities missing out on so much of their potential on that org so I need a little vent.

TSM was popular in the league of legends scene because not only were they great at the game but they had a great demeanor. The second that changed the organization crumbled. Not so fun fact Regi SA a female employee and i got the receipts to prove it. Unfortunately the person who gave me the info really needs to come out and speak on it. Riot games apparently swept it under the rug since it was never made public and well we all know Riots track record with stuff of this nature and women.

Let's not forget, the league community CHAMPIONED him when he was using his 'bully'ness against Riot during the whole Franchising push.
Regi was the linchpin to Franchising ever happening; something orgs and players were pushing hard for.
Let's not B.S. - We knew what he was like. And we even loved him when he used it against people we were against.

You have to deal with a level of toxicity if you want to play for the best team. Ask Michael Jordan's teammates if he wasn't toxic. Bullying in the right context can be a good thing to drive people towards greatness.

As someone who was a fan of them since the start and watched aaaaaall of their games (most live even though I'm from Europe)
I can say with confidence that TSM was basically the North Korea of e-sports teams
    Kim Jong Regi, the dictator.
Holding Bjergsen hostage when he probably could've found amazing success on other teams, both in NA and EU.
DL is the GOAT of NA but I'm pretty sure Bjergsen could've reached bigger heights if he got out in time.
When he finally got to TL and 100t it was sadly too late.

    • @JorgeHernandez-gm5fk

Regi was beyond a "bit harsh,"
It was borderline sadistic how he would belittle his employees in front of others.
It was all a power trip that stroked Regi's ego knowing that neither the employee nor the bystanders could stand up to him.
After Riot fined Regi, they set up a hotline for anyone in the TSM org to report if Regi continued his behavior. Riot was pissed and was a hair's width away from dropping the hammer on Regi. All of this is a bit wild considering TSM was by far the most popular team in League.

If they just fix the roster when they were at their peak i feel like if they keep the roster at some point where they have Hauntzer, Doublelift, Bjergsen, have a top tier jg and support thats what they were missing they shouldve tried to pick some from other region or some top tier NA support and import a jg but regi decided to get rid of DL. shouldve just replace support and jg or keep svenskeren as a sub.

Regi wasn’t the was always toxic and sadly never took the time to get professional help. But I will say his biggest lost and reason for riot knowing what they know is that his long time girlfriend now ex left him to be with his greatest enemy doublelift and she told him everything which allowed him to find a way into riot’s good side…. Regi should've been dealt with yes but the way it happened was more out of jealousy and revenge than to help him.
