Worried about safety; lower-middle-class building. How's the NYC rooftop view at 5 am on a Saturday?

I lived in this building for four years before moving out. It is where I grew and learned even more about being completely alone and standing up for myself. Despite all the negatives, I am grateful to have had a roof over my head during one of the most challenging times in human history. Many chapters started and ended, and then new ones began again. This neighborhood is one of the most peaceful and clean in New York City. If I did not accidentally end up here, I would never have heard of it. You are in the city, but it feels nothing like the big city you are in. Though this is an affluent neighborhood, only some buildings are well cared for. In our building, there are many safety concerns, but no care by the owner to address them.
We woke at 5 am and were able to dedicate ourselves to exploring a bit of unknown territory.
