Ure the most skillful orochi I've ever seen. Even in his tough days u could deal with S tier classes. But! Don't u think dat dodge cancel mechanic is broken and shouldn't be in the game? It doesn't have any counterplay and it's incredibly frustrating to deal with.
I feel like every time I start noticing myself deflecting and parrying light’s constantly changing on purpose it lasts like a week and the game either makes me genuinely empty/bored or I just get bad agin
what controller are you using Nova king? im learning the game on mouse and keyboard and have also played with controller. I feel I can change block direction faster on controller. but better hotkey setup on keyboard. perhaps the best is some sort of elite controller with back buttons so u dont have to move around ur fingers on controller?
Amazing as always Nova. Question, at 1:50 wouldn’t dodge gb be a better punish for the bash than dodge light? Isn’t the gb guaranteed during his bash recovery?
I thim that was the first time in my entire life that ive witnessed a warlord get 3 - 0'd by an Orochi. As some one who used to main warlord I alwayd thought warlord vs orochi was an automatic win. And the 5% that I loose its usually 2 - 3. Goes to show how much true mastery you have on one of the most mained heros in the game and how much you differ from the majority of the player base.
sometimes i see orochis not doing the followup 4 dmg light after zone attack such as in 2:34 is there a specific reason to that? its extra 4 dmg for a very low stam cost i dont get it
@@witch_lover the 4 dmg is guaranteed. A followup light in another direction is not and is an easy way to get parried since most people can parry light attack strings
I tried deflecting lights from a bot, or even dodging them. It's literally impossible for me, if I get caught in a chain I'm getting hurt 100%, if I see a light and double dodge back I'm getting hurt 95%... Going for deflects is so unbelievably risky/impossible when I try, for example I'm standing in highlander offensive and EVERY TIME I just get lighted out of it before even doing anything.

You can always bait out dodge cancels it’s what makes fighting Orochi and some assassins unique
