I am a senior in BSN nursing school and this year is kicking my butt. I have never had such a difficult time passing a class in my life. I just started watching your videos and hoping to learn a lot from them. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you
@@NursingSOS Thank you! Yes, I agree with you. Sometimes, the questions on tests have nothing to do with what was discussed in class. However, those questions will make make up a small portion of the tests. Some questions can be arbitrary too.
It's my second term of nursing school and I'm taking PHARM/MED SURG. its so difficult. I know the content but the exam questions are where I go wrong. I can't figure out a way to answer the questions right and do well on exams.
daniela fels you CAN do this! You are doing better than you think you are! Keep up all the hard work, incorporate practice questions into your studying, and focus your studying on really understanding what is happening in the body to get a full understanding rather than just trying to memorize it all. You CAN do this!
The problem is that my instructor just reads the PPT in class. Like, all of it. We have 64 question exams and the required reading is no less than 100 pages per unit, so cleary not everything lectured will be tested on. Im studying so hard but barely passing; it doesn't make any sense!
Double Oh 7 _, keep the faith, you are so capable!! Meet with your instructor, review how you are studying, ask them how you can be successful in their course. You've got this!

ACKISA MSONGA, great question! So you will want to make sure you fully understand the patho, enough so that you can explain what is happening inside the body and why it would be causing the symptoms you might see in patients. And focus on what your instructors cover in class. You are doing better than you think you are, friend!
Hi, im in my last few weeks of PN program. My professor has nit taught anything in my class. She reads the power points to us. 3 to 4 chapters every week. Test time there are 6 to 12 chapters to review and expected to know. Its a lot of material. Its unfair, bcs out of all of that material she questions on 1 or 2 disease process. We overstudy and are burned out by test time, resulting in failure of the test or testing poorly. Please help.
