Originally, the plan was to head South to do some boondocking near the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado, but an extreme heat event changed my mind! I thought the first week of June would be a good time to visit the National Park, but with the way things are now, it's hard to know what the weather will do.
Despite that though, I'm so grateful to have snagged a last minute cancelation for a different campground in Northern Colorado, where the temperatures were perfect. I read a trail report for that area just 5 days prior that said to expect 3-4 feet of snow still in the area, but by the time we got there I would estimate 90% of it was melted. We did see a few avalanche warnings, but mostly it was just runoff.
Summer is here and it's packing a punch! Stay safe out there everyone!

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement! I did a bad job at explaining our bed setup in my RV tour, so it's something I want to address in the future at some point because I think others are also curious. But basically I bought an 8 inch foam mattress and cut it down to fit the curve of the rig. It's super comfortable and we love it, however, it does make getting to the water pump a pain because it's heavy!
