    Hello, i have simulation of a single stage, single phase flyback inverter, feded by a pv array. The control is okay but the output current can't be in phase with the grid voltage, even i have a PLL controler but nothing works, with all the modifcations that i do current and voltage can't be in phase, current is lagging about 90 degrees, what can i do?? :(

    sorry, why the output of PLL is treated as the inverter current reference? I think its the grid current reference signal. Could you please explain to me? Thanks

      in this simulation you can replace the IGBTs with universal bridge, it will work

    Thank you sir for your effort, I have a question why do we use crurent contrôler (PR) ?

      Pi controller is suitable for tracking dc quantities only. For ac quantities PR Controller gives better result. And when we control AC Quantities using PI controller, there always exist small steady state error. But by using PR controller, we can achieve almost zero steady state error

      simple connect the output of the PLL to the controller input or use "goto" and "from" blocks as shown in the simulation

    how do you select the controller time constant

      Current controller should be faster than voltage controller always. Therefore current controller time constant value should be less than that of voltage controller time constant value

      I usually take current controller time constant as device switching time, and voltage controller time constant as 1.5 or 2 times the current controller time constant

      If these values makes the system unstable, then you can gradually try to find increase these numbers

      Watch the video on “closed loop simulation of single phase stand alone inverter using PR controller” where i have explained how to select kr values. And one thing to remember is that, kr value can be different and controller will work fine for different values. In the method that i have explained will give the starting value of kr, if that value is not working , you can start reducing it
