Is it small enough to put in a medium to regular sized camera bag? I want to step in video as well as baby/product photography, so looking this a KEY LIGHT.
Yes, it's small enough to fit in a regular to medium camera bag. It can function as a key light but be aware of the limited power and how much brightness you need. You may want to look at the ML60 only slightly larger and twice the light output. There's a great number of videos on TH-cam about the ML60 if you want to research. Thanks for watching and best of luck with your photography!
I would probably go with the ML60 over the Amaran 60d. I recently did a video comparing the two you can watch here th-cam.com/video/YyoDXcP6Nz0/w-d-xo.html. Thanks for watching!
Do you think there is enough power to light a cake cutting ceremony in a dark wedding venue? I would guess yes. Trying to decide between this and the ML60bi. Is the power output actually half?
Yes, I think the light from the ML30bi would probably be sufficient in this case but keep in mind that any of the bi color lights will have less output in the daylight range than the full daylight version. If you are using one of these lights for weddings I would probably opt for the ML60bi or the ML60 to make sure you have enough light. You can always gel the ML60 if you need to make it warmer. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the review. Would you recommend the Godox ML30 or the Amaran 60d? I’m currently on the market for a new key light. Thanks!

If the camera has good iso, I think it's enough especially with the reflector attached 😊
