I am a CNA who is currently working bedside and WAS going for nursing. I have been working since the pandemic and I am over this. I start my massage therapy program in three weeks. I want to do this for people who suffer chronic pain. I had a head/neck injury 5 years ago, and there is much relief I can gain from massages. I cannot wait. I want to work in the hospital for cancer patients, along with maybe starting my own side business as well. I don't know just yet, but I want to help people heal in a holistic way.
Absolutely, by putting God first and prioritizing building genuine relationships, not only will you experience true success, but you will also create a fulfilling and impactful journey that extends far beyond monetary gains.
As a yoga instructor and degree in health studies I love the idea of working as a massage therapist. Always loved cozy vibes and its a lucrative career. I love anatomy but I don’t care for nursing. It’s very long hours at hospitals and I commend nurses but I can’t see myself doing it.

When i was younger my big sister told me i should be a massage therapist. And now im dating a woman whos a hair dresser, shes finishing up her business school n gonna take accounting next. I honestly want to give her massages n facials, plus i dont wanna continue working minimum wage if shes leveling up so much. I wanna make money too so we can live a great lifestyle. 1. More money 2. Help people 3. To save money on my partner 4. Bond with my partner, and help my friends n family with massages
I’m so proud of you Ayana! You’re an amazing generous mentor , Thank you for sharing your stories🤗it definitely helped me remember my experience through this massage therapist journey. 💚
I am clinicals at school. I am open to learning different modalities after school. Chose it because being autistic/creative and very shy adult male, it sort of fits for me more than other careers. I used to work at tiffany and company as just a security guard although I did sales as a guard, because I wanted to be a sale professional but never was hired for that gig. My other job was tsa. It was OK, but the loud sounds would mess me up. I would go into full on depression due to sensory overload for most of my past jobs.
This is a great career for those of us who are neurodivergent. I've met plenty of non-neurotypical people in this field, who have excellent careers! Thanks for sharing this!
I’m not YET LMT but my why as of right now is that I love the idea of aiding people in their physical healing journey as possible trauma healing because I remember that you mentioned in one of your videos that there can be trauma stored in the body Also I heard the money can be pretty good and something that I desperately need So I’m not yet an LMT but I’m going to be doing more research and hopefully going to start my classes maybe next year God willing
I'm an LPN, currently not working as a nurse (was at bedside for over 10 years), finished my AA degree this past summer and currently in a Dental Hygiene program in my local college...and really don't like it!! I want to quit and wish i had gone to massage therapy school like I really wanted too! Thinking of withdrawing from the DH program and going to MT school ...
I start massage school in two and a half months. I think it would be cool to have my own business. I am drawn to the field because I am interested in anatomy and physiology and want to put that information to good use.
Hi dear, how are you? I’m good message. I want to take a class. I want. Take a class to be massage therapy naturally I’m so good. Also, I like to do it. Also I’m from states from Ethiopia. I need your help.

If you’re a male massage therapist forget about it. We get treated like shit. I’ve been a LMT for about 3 years now and I won’t be renewing my license. It was fun while it lasted. As a male LMT, you get used and abused. My hands and forearms are shot, you’re schedule isn’t always filled, and you walk around on eggshells. Like I said Massage therapy is great. If you’re a woman. You’ll get treated immaculately. No I’m not being sexist or I’m not trying to be at least just stating a very obvious fact.
@@teriyakiwilson7072 I mean different strokes for different folks. Here’s the deal. If disprove it great but, after my 3rd year in the industry and watching WOMEN fill their schedule, get treated perfectly fine, I couldn’t do it anymore. You don’t know my story but, if you’d like I have the receipts with zero to lose Walk up to anyone and ask would you rather have a man massage you or a woman? 9/10 a woman. Lemme guess you think you’re gonna change the world of massage? Highly doubtful.

I have been a massage therapist for the past 6 years!! I absolutely love it. I was actually thinking of studying Nutrition to add to my skill set.
