Thank you for this awesome video, I like the way you started right with the light and left the package to the end. This light also came out in a royal blue color which is very impressive to me. I believe the difference between FC11 and FC11C (other than CCRI neutral and warm-ish leds) is the buck driver that provides no flickering (PWM) at all. As of Anduril 2, it is just as simple as this light with minor differences. Switching between stepped and smooth ramping is 3 clicks when on. No need to bother with other settings if you don't want to, this is the ingenious difference between Anduril and Anduril 2.

Thanks for your review. I hope they'll release the FC11C in all of the FC11 colors eventually. I'd like to get a purple one.

Had a chuckle when I saw your video on my feed as my FC11C just arrvied yesterday and I haven't gotten to test it much aside from testing the button UI. Still gotta test the buck circuit they claim and the 90s timed drop from Turbo to High).
The 5000K tint looks comparatively more yellow than the common 6000~6500K used in LED bulbs and fixtures in my country and the SST40 in my WK03.
Biggest difference in the UI I noticed between the WK03 and FC11C is the flashing for lockout. On the WK03 the 2 flashes are short, while on the FC11C its longer (close to 1 second per flash).
I prefer its slightly bigger size than my WK03. The button being slightly more recessed also makes it less likely to be triggered untintentionally in a bag or pocket, but also harder to press.
    Addendum:
I unscrew the tailcap slightly to disconnect the battery when the flashlight won't be used for a while and there's not much tacticle feedback from the springs uncompressing on the FC11C compared to my WK03 where I can hear and feel a jolt from the springs as I loosen the tailcap.
I'll have to use it more on walks to see which between the WK03 and FC11C would I leave with my parents. For now the WK03 is with my father since its easier to activate the button.
    Update:
I've used the FC11C for a bit here and there now with a 2200mah battery and looks like it actually has a Buck Circuit and brightness is stable.
Over my testing of maybe 11hrs over a few days using it as an evening night before bed time on Low the brightness. I observed no heating whatsoever when using it on Low even for hours at a time.
Tried the Medium setting as well and it was also all good. For Medium the heat it produces it still fine and not that bad to hold.
The Turbo mode really steps down to High after a while, but Turbo is engageable again once it cools down a bit. Haven't used High that much aside from a few minutes at time. On High and Turbo with prolonged use its not that comfortable to hold since it heats up, but nothing too dangerous and far from scalding temperatures. My estimate is maybe around 50~60C.

My FC11C is also black like yours but on Wurkkos website they have a darker blue one.

So which one did you keep? As fas as I know, the WK03 is not regulated so output slowly decreases over time. It is also a lower end model (in terms of pricing and features) than the fc11. I'm surprised that the button on the WK03 is easier to activate - is the FC11 button not good?

@@MasterKoala777 The FC11C is the one I bring around to places. The WK03 is left at home with my father.
Yes the WK03's output drops over time to some extent but there's a point where it stabilizes more so on lower brightness settings, but in High and Turbo is looks more like a gradual dimming over time.
The button of the WK03 is not as recessed as the one on the FC11C is what I meant by easier to activate. When I was using it there were instances where I forgot to put it on lockout and it jostled around in my bag and turned on and I only noticed due to the heat.

My bad! Thank you for the heads up. I fixed the link. And good question! The FC11C is a buck circuit flashlight, meaning the flashlight does not require as much voltage in order to power the LED.
