I watch a restoration yesterday and that was the same washed the motherboard in soapy water the boards won't work after been in water someone needs to explain this to them all the connections will become loose
Actually, I always wash dirty ass motherboards with water, it s not a smart thing to do ,but it s necessary sometimes.. electronic components are more strong than you think ! If you carefully dry them it s fine! Water is not going to kill them instantly :)

The board would never survive that. Its all as fake as hell. Then the usual mantra is to test continuity with a meter. What they are actually doing is testing resistance which will cause the needle to swing once the positive probe on the board meets the negative one via the circuits !
My favorite part is when he starts randomly poking the board with the multimeter.

There is noo literal way that disk drive will still work :)))) like literally, that laser is busted. And that laptop is clearly painted with a brush full of dirt. Fake of course :) And it has the exact amount of keys for the keyboard.

- first measure the input circuit, then measure the resistance of gpu, cpu. measure the voltage drop on the usb, and see if the pch is working

How to fake.. I mean.. Make a video like this... find two laptos (only one needs to be in working condition), destroy the other one and hide it in the trash... find the trash computer, dissasemble and clean it. put it back toghether using the parts from the working laptop... get 1600 likes because you are a genius..

Let me explain how these work. So he buys a Pc or whatever then he films it working then he paints it in dirt, he makes it look as bad as possible and he throws it away in garbage. He starts filming and acting like he found that laptop in garbage. Then he "cleans it" and makes it look better and then he places the footage from before when the laptop was working. Real technicians usually use some sort of power supply and try to turn it on and see if ammeter moves, if not there's a problem
Or probing while powered on and measure voltage, out of spec=problem

We pretty much all figured it out by now,theres a few of these channels out there and most are fake.The funny thing is i use to do this when I was young,and I dont care how many years the item has been in the snow and rain it never looks as bad as they make them in these videos.

just seen to end and well i said he would use his magic water lol so wears the screen surround gone the 1 broken when he taking it apart and were did he get 500 gig hdd from and switch it on with win7 ultimate on it no installing it lol no support for win7 anymore and 1 gig of memory sad very sad what a waste of time .
