I consider that if I don`t own the skills to backflips bar spins and insane jumps, I do not experience the bicycle at its full potential. Also, it is important to master the jumping skills, it can save your life.
Driving 10 hours home right now with my new Trek FX 4 Sport getting ready for 1000 mile ride from Myrtle Beach to Key West in October. All started with love cycles and watching your videos ever since. Keep up the great work!!
@@ElevationEveryWeekend I can't wait to go. I have everything in place just need to let the weather break a bit. Too hot and humid this time of year to ride through Florida
B. Rizzle did a solo Jacksonville to key west 8/8/20. Took me 8 days on a montague paratrooper highline. A really heavy ass bike. It was fun. There are some dangerous spots on the way so be careful. Pack light and have fun!
@@MikeLyncheski I'm going to mostly stay along the East Coast Greenway with some small deviations. Its convenient that it runs through my town and ends at my destination
Ryan, I am a new fan! I love your spirit of adventure, your attitude and gratefulness, and your love of life! Your videos are professional and amazing! Keep inspiring! We need people like you in this world. Safe travels...no flatties, no crashies, no whammies!
YAY! WE'RE GOING ON A TRIP!!! Have fun friend and be safe! Your mountain biking videos give me heart palpitations! I'm too old for that shit! Be careful!!! ❤️
Hey Ryan, a few years ago when I was living in Chama, NM, this guy whose trail name was Otter camped in our yard for a few nights while he rested. My friends (I was living in the apartment above their house) had met him on his last through hike through there. He had done all three of the big through hikes several times. He knew his way so he was just using downloaded maps on his phone and recharging when he got to towns. Well, he got caught in a storm near us (my friend tried to get him to wait until after the storm had passed before going back out). Someone at a Forest Service office in a town in southern New Mexico swore she saw him come in and so the search was called off. He spent from mid-November to February slowly dying in a FS outhouse. If he had had a paper map and compass, he’d be on a new adventure today. As fall begins, do now take dumb risks in the Rockies. Paper map and compass doesn’t weigh much when you consider it can be lifesaving.
Good luck my friend. Safe travels! I just recently took my 12 year old son on a three day bike trip. We rode 32 miles from loveland to Wellington. Stayed at the KOA. Took one day off to hang out, and then rode home. My son loved it, so we will be doing more soon. Thanks for inspiring us.
I am hoping you have good weather, good luck, no whammies, a tail wind the whole way. You deserve a great trip. Thanks for all of your entertaining videos during this pandemic. I will be waiting for those vlogs when you get back. Have a great time.
You're doing what I want to do. But for gravel bike trails. I learned alot from just three of your videos. Thanks so much for listing all that you use. Very thankful!👍😁
In my experience, there isn't a co2 inflator worth its weight. SO glad to see you are bringing a pump! Can't wait for your reports.......I am so in lust with your new bike. I'm so glad to see Priority get their priorities straight and make a gear and belt drive mountain bike. Don't spare it....put it through the paces so I know I can trust that I will buy the right one when the time comes. God Bless. Thank You.
You got me so excited about this adventure, and I'm not even the one that's doing it. Would love to do it someday and so looking forward to seeing the videos. Your videos are so inspiring. The commentary and little funny side comments, are great!!! Best of luck to you.
Thanks Ryan. I have seen thousands of these gear reviews and yours has been one of the absolute most useful. Of course. I am looking forward to seeing you divide videos I’m sure they will be wonderful as always. Good luck and have fun.
This video that shows you the equipment and utensils for this bike trip will be useful for cyclists who want to take trips off conventional roads, escaping the traffic of major highways and exploring trails and rural roads. I was researching the most varied assembly models for transport, I am already interested in doing this type of activity. Most bike travelers use the alfajores installed on both sides of the back of the bike and are heavy and limited when it comes to passing obstacles. I really liked the tips you gave us cyclists. I'm from Brazil and here unfortunately, this equipment is expensive and some of them don't have it in our country, but there are many of us Brazilians who do bike trips like this. One day I would like to see the USA from coast to coast by bike. But it would be interesting for you to get to know the landscapes of Brazil by bicycle.
Okay, bucket list item. As I am probably old enough to be your parent, I better get myself ready to do it in 2021 - before the bucket catches up to me. Good luck and thanks for the inspiration!
Lot of good for my SOUL!!! Love your statement! Very comprehensively and eloquently speaking by yourself about the travel gears ! Love it ! May be in future I may ask for help from you Sir !!
I’ve been following you for a few years now and I’ve always wondered when you were going to take this adventure on. Have a great trip! I will be looking forward to the videos when you release them when you get back.
Thanks again Ryan! Great synopsis! I was gonna get a Tubilito to carry, then I read reviews on them...........now I dont want one,too many problems that could suck in middle of no where. But they ARE light and small. I ended up with a latex tube to back up my tubeless tires. That bike IS the bomb.
Great bike and a lot of nice gear. Your right about buffs. I wear mine all the time now. Love my Lucci light too. Good luck. Take care and stay safe, Al
Living vicariously through your adventures! Slowly healing up from the broken collar bone. Finally got a ride in today! Be safe out there. Looking forward to the content. ✌
Great info! Glad to hear about the Priority 600. I’m especially interested in the Gates Belt drive. We were on the Divide at the same time. @Duzer you inspired some of the Divide riders I was meeting a long my adventure.
You should try to collaborate with Russ from Path Less Pedaled! He's just off the trail in Missoula. He could do an excellent third party review on the new Priority
Good luck buddy!!! That’s so awesome that your doing this ride. Iv been waiting for you to do it. Can’t wait to see the videos. I was on that trail for a few miles in Buffalo creek CO the view there was amazing. Have fun be careful ride hard.
Seen some other people riding the great divide . They cry , moan and complain to a degree that make me want to ask “ why on earth did I you do it and why are you showing the videos?” BUT they surely make you stand out. Short of the politico I do like your videos and admire your spirit. Thx 🙏
Godspeed Ryan! I'm eager to watch the videos of the journey. This gear list is awesome info, I do not know when but one day I WILL do this route and I cannot wait for the challenge/adventure!
Really great mtb bike packing gear list! Love the Revelate Mag tank, GoPro and DJI equipment. Would love to try the Gates carbon drive, but will have to wait for them to be more readily available on more bike models. Good luck on the Great Divide and thanks for bringing us on your journey!
Ryan...You're living my dream. Make it an awesome trip on the Great Divide! I'm looking forward to your feedback on the do's and don'ts on this challenging and inspiring bike trip.
Enjoy mate!!! Was going to do this route this year, but hopefully next year we can travel internationally to USA and have some fun on the Great Divide!! Looking forward to your videos mate, have a great time :)
I'm going to try and stay patient. Please keep us updated at least with pictures and updates on how the bike performs on your adventure on Instagram. We also worry about your safety being on such a long trek... so keep in touch!
Ryan, really excited about your trip! Can’t wait to see your videos after you return. Hope you are not traveling alone as I expect this route could be a bit dangerous. Either way be safe and be brutally honest with the folks at Priority. I may buy one of these in the future. I don’t have instagram but may install and get an ID just to get the latest info on your travels!
I see you liked my Tubolito recommendation! That's cool 👍 I always cringed knowing you were packing around those HUGE regular tubes. Have an awesome adventure!
Enjoy the trip and be safe! Got the GoPro Hero 8 and have used it on my last few vids, quite happy so far. I need to do some “dead cat” on my mics though. Interesting to hear how that little drone works out, it’s on my wishlist. Bike looks good! I’m all about the fatbike, maybe they will do a fatbike version someday?
Man that looks like one cool 🚲 bike I am trying to get going on my bike but having some physical problems right now and it is so hot here in Arizona right now but hope one day to go on another epic journey.. Hopefully on a bike like the one your making it looks so 😎 nice..goos luck on your ride I'll pray for a safe ride for you..
Also, maybe a shift cable. Looks like the pinion takes 2. 1 goes and your hosed. Saw a guy in the basin with.a Rolf that took 2 break one and he was walking. It doesnt weigh much or take much space. Good luck
Looks like a dialed in kit for Rockies basin and range ride. And unlike Baja, there are going to be other riders out there to support, like more vitamin-I and occasional cheer. Looking forward to the story.
Hello Mr.Duzer. Nice video, bike, stuff, hair.. everything ;) I have a question. I like your buff. It seems shorter like default buff size. How long is it ? (in cm/inch please) Have you shorten it ? Thanks for your answer. Have a good one.
It's cool to see a rider who's not doing backflips bar spins and insane jumps just riding
Ya I really enjoy see people just drive their car down the road instead of doing jumps and donuts.
I consider that if I don`t own the skills to backflips bar spins and insane jumps, I do not experience the bicycle at its full potential. Also, it is important to master the jumping skills, it can save your life.
