I visited both India (2 times) and Pakistan (4 times), And I totally agree with Iryna. I didn't feel safe Indian but surprisingly I felt not only safe but very comfortable in Pakistan. Pakistani people maintain a minimum distance while Indians have so sense of personal space.

You foreigners heads up to dirty north india that too not himachal or uttarakhand but rather Delhi Agra punjab with full of dirt. I don't understand why don't you head up for southern India or north eastern India which are entirely not just different from northern India but also rest of south asian countries too in terms of cleanliness and even space. Pakistanis are a a mix of their neighbours such as western india (Panjab was split between the two) Eastern Afghanistan and Southeastern Iran. There are also some influences of Central Asia as it is very close to Tajikistan.
10 milion Pakistanis reside across the world, large communities can be found across Europe, North America East & South Africa, Gulf Arab states, Southeast Asia and Australia/New Zealand.
Yet Pakistan is controlled by muhajirs. Starting up from your abdul qadeer khan,Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, imran Khan all were muhajirs though
They are mainly Central Asian/Afghan/Iranian origin people, very little connection to India. There were Indians who lived in Pakistan up until 1947 but they moved to India.

yes South Indians are south East Indians are different from us.
On Northern side of Pakistan , different ethnic communities are present , like Khasmiries...on both side of border (LOC more specifically).
KPK is entirely different from thousands of years , they are Phuston race , which have different history.
Balochistan has two main races, Baloch and Hazaras... and Hazaras are totally different history and considered as a descent from Mongol.
I wonder how can you correlate subcontinental race ( specially Punjab and Sindh province) with central Asian.

There're several movie which criticise the superstition of Hindus too exist in india. Pakistan is an Islamic republic which doesn't allow any non muslim candidate to hold Presidential position while India is a secular republic and the only South Asian country which has no official religion and the only non muslim majority country in the entire world which had four former muslim presidents and three former muslim vice presidents. Alcohol isn't legal in Pakistan while alcohol is absolutely legal and even tax free in many parts of India. In terms of beef, then beef is completely legal in southern India and North East India. Name a point where Islamic republic of Pakistan is more liberal than republic of India. Pakistan don't even have night Life while India's every metropolitan cities have night Life infact India's night Life is ranked eighth best in the world while Goa's nightlife is considered to be the best in Asia with Asia's largest carnival sunburn. As a American I can say, Yes true I think she is naïve, however one thing I do agree on her is that Pakistan is more cleaner then India over all and yes Pakistan has more bigger spaces and even bigger houses the India. Most bloggers have said that and you can actually see this difference in both Pakistan and India videos, Pakistan looks much cleaner with very nice houses, so for any introvert person who doesn't like crowded and polluted places, Pakistan is better traveling wise. However if you gave me a choice where I would rather live not travel, I would defiantly choose India for many opinions like: More freedom, better pay and economy, better chances to grow, Much better social life (Pakistan has not social life), drinking culture, nice beaches and coastal areas, beautiful country side and of course the size and diversity of India. So for long term living wise India is much better, but traveling wise for only few weeks or months I would say Pakistan would be a better choice for most westerners, especially because Pakistan has amazing meat dishes which most westerners love, but of course that doesn't mean India is bad, in reality all the world has pros and cons

generally people are modest in Pakistan but there maybe a few bad ones ,if a local or foreign women feels she is being harassed by someone she can just tell a few locals and they will update that guys software before the authorities and thats generally what local women do and in a few minutes a crowd gathers to deal with that guy
I guess she visited only Delhi, Agra, and some North Indian cities. Delhi is the worst city in India. Delhi and Agra has the highest number of scammers. The Himalayan region, the North East and South, especially Kerala and Karnataka have more educated people and cities are cleaner.

But today mumbai is full of northies and marathi peoples became a minority there. Maharashtra in today's time is dominated by Hindi while marathi peoples and their culture isn't even getting in forefront. Those uncivilized acts are mainly shown by the northies who comes to maharastra and sets up in slums to do those illicit acts. Southern India is also heading up in same direction where northies are filling up Karnataka and pushing their north indian divisive politics and indigenous kanadigas are facing hurdles. It's sad but yes south indian states like Kerela and tamil nadu are still awesome and way more cleaner than almost every south asian countries except of Sri Lanka. Most people go to Delhi and Agra and think that's India, bro go to Banglore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, Udaipur, Ladakh, Goa, Sikkim, Shimla and you'll experience totally different cultures. Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur are highly populated areas, and hence such experiences. You can't compare old Delhi to Islamabad, one is a new city and the other is centuries old.But you'll have 30 better places in India than Islamabad if you chose to visit.
But Lahore is old as well and she loved Lahore.....which is supposedly like Delhi :)

They have to compare Pakistani cities like Lahore to Delhi or Karachi to Mumbai if they are comparing cities. If they want to compare mountains then at least go to Indian Himalayan cities or South hill stations then compare. India is such a huge country, you will find everything.

The north/west Pakistan is similar to Afghanistan. And southern/east similar to India.

Ì am not able to compare both brotherly countries, because i have never been in Pakistan. But i visited India 6 times. Apart the dirtiness, Indians are so gentle, friendly peoples.despite the mass brainwashing of some hindu fanatics hates against muslims. Nice to see all religions live side by side in harmony. I enjoyed my holidays in India. Many friends have been in Pakistan Universities for so long,for medical degree.They all told me it is cleaner ,and safer for girls,women travellers.but the political situation is not good till nowadays, which continue to affect the economy and progress of Pakistan.

You are right mate but managing is not the appropriate word here in my opinion people should know how to manage them( in behavior) and this can only be done by them. Whether you find her statement wrong or right, ridiculous( might be because it is being compared to a disarray country like Pakistan) but its her experience and you have to admit the shortcomings of our society when it comes to treating foreigners. They might be like some alien species to us but they need their space and if we do want to get in conversation or something we need to seek for their approval in willingness to talk. I recently visited both the countries. Both the countrys are nice but i think India is more developed and on other side i feel Pakistan is developing.
In food both the courtiers are good
But i think India is more diversified were as Pakistan is not .
I loved the hotels of India it was extremely nice specially the, THE LALIT in new Delhi.
She definitely has not visited India properly or has generalised the experience in a single city due to some reason to the entire country. I have Europeans whom I know and they feel safer in Mumbai than in Paris or Berlin even. And to be honest, metropolitan Indian cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, etc. are much more safer than any Pakistani city like Karachi and Lahore

As a American I can say, Yes true I think she is naïve, however one thing I do agree on her is that Pakistan is more cleaner then India over all and yes Pakistan has more bigger spaces and even bigger houses the India. Most bloggers have said that and you can actually see this difference in both Pakistan and India videos, Pakistan looks much cleaner with very nice houses, so for any introvert person who doesn't like crowded and polluted places, Pakistan is better traveling wise. However if you gave me a choice where I would rather live not travel, I would defiantly choose India for many opinions like: More freedom, better pay and economy, better chances to grow, Much better social life (Pakistan has not social life), drinking culture, nice beaches and coastal areas, beautiful country side and of course the size and diversity of India. So for long term living wise India is much better, but traveling wise for only few weeks or months I would say Pakistan would be a better choice for most westerners, especially because Pakistan has amazing meat dishes which most westerners love, but of course that doesn't mean India is bad, in reality all the world has pros and cons
