But, having said that, I do agree that they should risk it and promote smaller channels over big ones, it will damage them for a bit but it will help them massively in the long run. Seeing a small channel benefit from these tips would make the dopamine hit and make small channels want to watch the entirety of the video.

From what I’ve gathered from other TH-camrs, its the art of weaving those keywords into sentences that actually make sense, instead of just having keywords back to back. It ends up sounding like an essay that’s trying to meet a word count, but it seems to be effective for SEO.
You don't know what keyword stuffing is if you think coherent sentences that are relevant to the video is keyword stuffing. Keyword stuffing would be creating a video about Popcorn, but having Pumpkin, cheeseburger, Fries, Christmas, Caramel in your description randomly OR having a sentence like "Christmas pumpkin Caramel popcorn is better than Cheeseburger and fries" in your description. But what if the video is a Caramel Popcorn recipe for Christmas that is in a Top 5 snack video that includes Cheeseburger recipe, Pumpkin pie? It's not keyword stuffing, because all the keywords are relevant to the video AND they are not placed randomly, they can be arranged to form coherent search term sentences. Create actual sentences relevant to the video and title that are also search terms. Not random, not jumbled words, and not unrelated words.

FYI - From an SEO veteran... a private browser doesn't get you clean search rankings. You'd need to use something like a VPN for that, have someone in another part of the country do the search from some public place with Wi-Fi, or something like that. It can still tell who you are from where you are, and while going private waters that down, it's not all the way.

I've been there just about to hit 2k subs after 2 years but i was stuck at 200 for like 3-4 months and then just kept improving. You'll get there. Consistency + Improvement is key.
This isn’t exactly a new concept to Seo when your a bigger channel I feel like you have that natural advantage of putting near non sense in your description box and because your popular you get easy and earlier access to views and TH-cam’s natural promoting of said video. A smaller channel trying this 7/10 changes nothing sad to say.
