- One day, the reason behind our existence, the Sun will swell up enormously. It will swallow Mercury, Venus, and probably even our home, the Earth! Sounds terrifying, right? This apocalyptic event is bound to occur on Sun's deathbed. Yes! You heard that correctly. Even the Sun is going to die someday. But have you ever wondered how it would happen? What will the death of our beloved star look like? And most importantly, will the Sun become a black hole?
The 10th episode of the 'Ever Wondered' series will answer all these questions.

Long Before this event the human race will get extinct. The process has got ignited already. All the triggers are in place. When the Sun was born we were not there when it dies we won't be there. We don't have that much long past or Future. We are transient in the Cosmic Scale . Human race has already written a Death will. We have stockpiled enough of fire wood to burn ourselves completely. Our piles of Nuclear weapons can charr the Earth 7 times. Why we bother about the extinction of the Sun which is going to happen at least 6 billion years after our own extinctions .
@@sanathansatya1667 Not forgetting the sun will still slowly continue to warm up long before it runs out of fuel , earth may be uninhabitable in mere thousands of years , and that does not even count the other 999,999 ways habitable life may be extinguished on our little rock , including as you have already stated , humans propensity to find new and exciting ways to kill each other :( .
And we are apparently over due for an extinction level event , so the sooner we start looking for other rental properties out in space , the more chance we have of keeping the human species alive .

things could be better. and if we saw global revolution, reshaping earth into a society without borders such that nuclear weapons no longer are a practical threat, and a society without any economic incentive to harm the earth, then maybe we have a future. but a global anarchist-socialist-pacifist revolution seems incredibly unlikely, statistically speaking. so we'll probably be wiped out instead.
We will evolve. We will find a way and we will advance to other galleries. What we will accomplish will be mind-boggling but man will find a way. You can bet on humans to survive and prosper to the heavens and beyond. We'll find new forms of life, some intelligent and some microscopic. We'll learn new ways to live and treat one another because survival is key. We will make that great leap. I won't be there to see it but, I know we will do it.
This video kind of made me emotional for our beautiful sun. Just goes to show that we all are on borrowed time!

We're growing up together, the human race. And we've discovered a lot of things that we didn't know. We're finding our way. Instead of thinking about *Doomsday* all the time, think about how beautiful the world is. We're all together, and together we're getting wiser. Together we can make this world better for our future generations 😊

Hope so. We didn't cry for the extinction of Dinosaurs . We are not crying for the many species that are getting extinct on daily basis mainly because of the plundering of the Earth by human beings. Extinction of species is a cyclical phenomenon . We are not an exception. Only difference we are the cause of our own extinction , be it Global environmental changes or the triggering of Nuclear stockpiles . We have enough Nuclear arsenal that can charr the Earth 7 times. And we have to remember the fact that the triggers are in crazy hands. This is not a Doomsday Fantasy.
The father of Atomic Bomb lamented and predicted a Doomsday if we don't wakeup against the Nuclear arms stockpiling because there won't be a victor after the Holocaust.
I've noticed recently, seeing programs about the sun they don't mention it becoming a red giant, it's skipped over?

But when they were, the pictures show what it looked like a long time ago, because when we look at something from space, it isn’t shown at the same time you think. Like for instance, the suns light takes 8 minutes to reach earth. So when we look at the sun with sunglasses, your looking at it as it was 8 minutes ago.

That was the first time I'd seen either one of them stop what they were doing to watch a science related topic. At the end of the video my wife said that was the first science related video I've watched that she fully understood and captivated her attention to watch. My daughter started asking questions. We will probably roast within a billion years. The sun will be hot enough by then to raise temperatures above the ability of life to cope - at least on Earth. This will happen long before the sun expands to the red giant phase.

The sun and stars behave so much like us carbon based life forms. The death of the sun seems to be extremely agonizing for the sun itself. I’m not sure if stars are alive but they sure act like it. I often wonder if stars like the universe have a consciousness. I wonder if they may have stimuli like us carbon based organisms. The core would be its brain if it’s alive. And the electrical storms in its core, could that be a scaled up version of our brain activity found in animals plants and fungi?…

Its sad to think that our sun would die 😢. The most consistent source of sunburns, gone in an instance 😂.
The sun would not shine at all if not for quantum tunneling. It's gravity alone simply isn't strong enough to fuse hydrogen.
Our sun is not going to die. It is created from eternal light, and is a giver of life. So that means it is eternal also. It’s just that simple.
And the bright flashes in deep space are not exploding suns. They’re portals opening up and closing.

Whether Now NASA and other space agency discovered about earth like discovery, Multiverse etc has already been written in Hindu VEDA'S .

Humans can do great things but we must choose to do so. So yes we can solve this problem. We will know enough by then to engineer a new star, move somewhere else and bring life to that planet, or even rejuvenate the sun somehow.
Thinking about the scales of space - the sizes, distances, time frames - make me realize how tiny and really unimportant to anything we humans and our planet really are.
The sun might die in billions of years and take earth with it, but we as a species won't witness that... a few thousand years and humanity killed itself off in a manmade, worldwide holocaust.

We should try to do whatever we can to survive, but if the sun loses energy, and we use up fossil fuels, there’s no way we can sustain enough energy in space without a sun/light energy. Darknesses means no heat and no plants. No heat means no 98.6 degrees F. No plants means no oxygen, no oxygen means no life. Hopefully Jesus Christ will come back and take us all to heaven! When i was young and felt our stars warmth on my skin... I did not think of how pleasant it was... I thought... If it can produce that much heat and energy from that distance and we this far away from it.... Its like the "gods" equation for cold fusion for humanity.
And maybe that is the evolutionary tract of this dimension... To have species develop to create life, until the evolutionary tract makes them to be pure beings of energy. How many millions of years it might take. Chapters of the cosmos.

I wish I could be a witness to the sun’s evolution to a white dwarf, and hopefully the human race’s ability to colonize other worlds in order to survive the solar system’s changes.
