My questions are would it be possible for you to start having content on here specific for the ONN streaming box? My second question is that on the fire stick it is easy to add a 2nd original fire stick remote control and have both remotes work at the same time. My wife and I prefer each having our own remote. Do you know if there is any way to have a 2nd remote in the ONN streaming box and if so can you give me the directions on how to do it? Thanks
The best way I found to manage alexa and amazon firesticks. Is don't have them, it's as easy as that, I mean look what's happened in Scotland with the bill that will get you arrested if somebody takes offence at something you say, in your own home, and you still have an alexa, really????? Oh, and ditch your smart phone, do we really need to be on social media all the time???
Thanks so much for this one. I was going to plug my home theater equipment into my router but since the receiver has access to voice control, I'm not doing it. I was just getting comfortable with installing some voice control in my home for lights and security cams etc. If a VPN can't stop them then I'm not so sure that I want Amazon in my life at all. I'm not too worried about my voice recordings since I live alone. I'm guessing that they're monitoring the audio of what we are streaming also. I guess the security cams will be using their own monitor and be completrely hard wired. I'm going to look into a Wi-Fi networking's system that doesn't need to be tied to the internet if I need anything with voice control in the future. I really thought that a VPN would stop their access to my technology. If I paid for it, they shouldn't be using it.

The way I read it was that it memorizes your voice or records your voice so it easily recognizes you when you use Alexa. I don’t understand how or why you think it’s recording everything that you are doing/ saying?? It records you only when using Alexa for commands.
Not just firestick, ChromeCast too. And you cant put them on isolated networks because they link up using the 2nd wifi chip to piggy back on nearby devices.

Know what you need to do with your firestick is take it thrown in the garbage. I bought one of these ONN boxes, from Walmart for $20. And it is ten times faster than any fire stick. In fact it's the best Android box I ever owned. I probably shouldn't be saying this because they'll bump the price up, but I bought five of them should last me the rest of my life

Power down at the wall socket switch. Problem solved and switch on when needed like any other appliance…

Try this: open up the case of your remote, find the microphone, remove the microphone. Job done.

I have a jvc fire TV! It has all the firstick features built into the tv! Now I'm paranoid! Lol

Yeh, that won't work. They're still monitoring you. The best and only way to avoid is not to have a firestick. Don't buy a smart TV either.

My power strip is turned off when I am not watching TV. You can also unplug when you are not off of your fire stick.
but what if you're not signed in to the firestick? what then? what options can we turn off on the actual device?
Voice deletion didn’t work for me. Alexa told me she could not delete recordings from the fire stick. Only in the app.
