I grew up loving and playing video games and I decided I wanted to share my passion and create videos about my favorite things. We cover gaming news, full story of games, character deep dives, and much much more.
To anyone that watches the channel and enjoys it, thank you it means everything to me.
COD Ghosts has some redeeming qualities such as the Forgotten Aliens Mode and Unique Multiplayer Perks.
The perk system was underrated. The point system they used allowed us to sacrifice attachments, weapons, and equipment for different perks that broke up staple perks we had been accustomed to to get the most out of class selection.
the aliens was the reason i got the game
The campaign might be my fav still ngl
The MR28 DMR with a red dot and suppressor, no secondary weapon , lethal or tactical and maxed out perk slots was the best set up in COD history. You could very easily go 54/5 against a lobby of commed up clanners and make them rage quit lol.
That alien mode needs to come back it was amazing in my opinion
I really hated how in the new MW games, they show off Task Force 141 as this small spec ops team who constantly splits up into different teams to do different missions when in reality they're a international Task Force. They could've just kept Task Force 141 a team that sticks together since that's what a real Spec Ops team does irl. Show dont tell why they're the best
Also in the original, TF141 was a lot bigger than just 5 people. The original felt like an actual unit with support. And the original did split up. The third to last mission was Ghost leading a team against the mansion and Price leading a team in the boneyard.
@@kimbertactpro9 thats true about the boneyard and Makarov safehouse, but throughout the mw2 game, they're always together collaborating with different military units and branches. Youve never felt like a super soldier that saves the day, it makes you feel like a small soldier part of a bigger war.
They made Marvel avenger style 141 most dumbest decision ever
They could have used this to bring back old characters. Like the old games had two playable factions.
USMC and SAS. TF141 and Rangers. TF141 and Delta.
They could have made those old characters members of TF141 and split the groups up. Have price lead soap, Gaz and ghost in Argentina while Griggs, Foley, and Ramirez link up with Alejandro and Rudy
@@kimbertactpro9 Yeah. The OG 141 felt like there were twenty or more guys total
COD Ghosts deserves more recognition
I agree
Hell yeah
COD Ghosts shouldn’t have been left on a clif hanger no matter what they said about the multiplayer I think Activision and the rest of the colour duty are companies that make the campaigns they just said I don’t care about the The public thinking about the multiplier I think the campaign was the highest and I think we should make a sequel and this time we should fix everything the first game dead but we continue this like we don’t listen to you but we listen to ourselves and we know that we can make something better!
Anyone that hates this campaign I know for a fact that as soon as you boot up a new COD, you head straight to multiplayer.
Ong, no cares about the story anymore bc it's same ole stuff for example mw2019-2023, is going after 1 person or set enemies, while cold war was looking for pursues but they were more focus on getting the nukes before they denate blaming the US making them #1enemy
MW 2019 was the best cod campaign we had in a while, largely due to it being the most realistic, hell the best 2 missions in the whole game, are heavily scripted, slow paced and small levels. The player is operating alone unless it makes realistic sense. It's multiple teams working together to complete an objective. MW2 dropped the ball somewhat by making the game more action based, but it still worked, due to the semi realism present. MW3 didn't just drop the ball, but lost it entirely. 141 is just an sas team that, for the most part, work alone. Blame the open combat missions for that. The realism is just gone and the friendly ai is next to usless. Ironically the last mission is the most realistic, sas evenly split their man power, take the lead and have ctfso as support (realistically it should be other sas and gign). At least with ghost's, all members have a speciality thats obvious and they stick to it, and at least from a story perspective, the ghost's aren't without support, there's always a unit ready to assist
This has been a recent trend, people revisiting Ghosts and realizing it was actually pretty nice compared to the future games, and hand some ground to stand on too.
There was never a greater feeling than when I was low on health in that one snow lab map, reloading, and an enemy was about to shoot at me, and then he suddenly gets plowed down by hesh in some cinematic badass scene
I’m Really Like To See Commander Phillip Graves and Shadow Company & The Ghosts Team Up Upcoming Call Of Duty
That would be a cool dynamic
Ghosts had some of the best mission designs in the series, people say it's MWII... But some of the mission mechanics/gimmicks were so unrefined in that game. For example the stealth mechanics in Alone and vehicle mechanics in Convoy.
This game actually takes the cake.
the way they moved when that revolving vault door opened was pure beauty
Hell yes
Ghosts is legit one of the most unique FPS's of all time. The weapons, setting, and atmosphere are so unique. It's sad that serial COD players have no appreciation for innovation.
I feel like the OG MW2 did it better then ghosts with foley's unit, you play with Sgt. Foley and Cpl. Dunn for most of the game and every mission with them was so memorable, same goes for Metal team in MW3 2011, it wasn't as good as MW2 but still it was very good, sandman was a very good character. MW19 and MW22 did it well too with some of the room clearing missions, you felt like your in a real SF unit in those, especially clean house. It was only MWIII that failed miserably, that game is a disgrace to the modern warfare name lol.
MW3 caused so many issues its sad.
I will never forget being 13 and saving up months work of my paychecks as a paper boy just to pre-order this game and being the first kid in middle school to have the game.
The campaign is up there with Black Ops 1, in my opinion, competitive multiplayer was a blast. I didn't care much for the aliens mode, but other than that, this game was super underrated.
I bet that year was a blast playing through COD..
I hope we get a sequel or a reboot one day
I hope so to there's been a lot of talk about one in 2027 but we will see
Fck reboot. THE SEQUEL BRO, THE SEQUELLLL
The thing people need to learn is Call of Duty should be played for campaign, and battlefield for its multiplayer. COD ghosts is the best game in my book
I have fond memories playing this as a 11yo kid back when I got my PS4 in '15. First ever cod I played, though since then I only played AW and WAW Zombies
Cod ghost>>>cod clones after mw2019 i think I’m gonna buy ghost again because its different from others cods it does not use the usual protagonists but dares to invent new ones
Some of my favourite Team and Character designs, really dug how both sides looked
My first cod I bought and one of my favs. Loved everything about it. Campaign was great and extinction was probably my fav third mode of all time. Have so many hours logged in on that. Loved playing split screen and finding two randoms and being able to complete all the side quests and turn into a super soldier. The campaign was a great opposite in comparison to mw3 and bo2 which I played at cousins house. Being the small army and taking back the momentum of war was huge and the end was a great cinematic ending. And the mp is the only cod I got to prestige 10 on. Did buy the dlc but it was so good and I had a great time being in 8th grade and just adding the best player on my team and then playing matches as a party. Truly was a great social experience.
hell yeah Ghosts was awesome.
💯 Agreed!! If someone described The Legendary TF141 & pick which one you thought was the unit after watching the Ghosts campaign then the new MWII&III campaign, I’m willing to bet the majority would say TF141 Were the GHOSTS!!
Funny enough, the new CoD games made Ghosts look superior. It was my first CoD game ive actually played. Im looking forward to see the sequel fr
ngl ghost wasn't even that bad it was alot better then ww2, advance warfare, infinite warfare and vanguard in my opinion. I guess i dont like cod games based in the 1400s or cod games that have some crazy ass abilities. Ghost had a good campaign and storyline ppl hating on it way to much. After 2015 cod games went down hill until probably bo4 and mw 2019
If I were to rewrite ghosts, I could’ve not introduce the ghost hunter, maybe I could’ve started the ghosts story as the walker brothers dealing with a post apocalyptic setting ala last of us. Maybe the last of us would exist in the same world as call of duty in why the American country is very dysfunctional. That the ghosts team is a fairytale story that is based on real life military operations. That their dad is presumably missing and must find him. Plus they discover one ghost team member who is presumed to be the ghosts of their childhood story. At least the Tel Aviv war their dad fought was more justified than the war in South America. It felt like they were warring against the real enemy overseas. Their South American war felt like they’re the invaders instead of saviors. Plus there would be a back story of why the federation formed.
The ghosts are officially called Task Force Stalker
Yes they are
I was hoping even in the past few years that we’d get some sort of season centered around ghosts in the new modern warfare games but they act like the game doesn’t even exist😒I would settle for even a comic book for a continuation to the story cause of the cliffhanger too
Of all the Call of Duty I have ever played and seen people played call of duty. Gost has been better than any call of duty I have ever seen.
both ghosts and advanced warefare were good games youtubers got paid to diss them to promote future games
That was my first COD game. Tbh comparing it to today's games, COD Ghosts had one of the best COD campaigns
Don’t get it twisted. CoD Ghosts is still a bad CoD Campaign and a bad game in general. A severe downgrade after what came before it, Black Ops 2. At least MWIII has 32 vs 32 Ground War, doing a much better job at competing with Battlefield than whatever pathetic attempts Ghosts tried to do.
I in fact have ut twisted
Dont care what anyone says Ghost is a Top Call of duty along side og Mw and BO
Yup
Why? Its def worse than the OG MW Trilogy, WaW - BO2, was multiple steps back from Black Ops 2. DEFINITELY not better than MW19, hell I wouldn’t even say MWII or Cold War. AW and BOIII are better
@@alexdeghost2729what is bro yapping about
I just played this for the first time two days ago and loved it! I love campaign modes, so this one I thought was fantastic
Definitely really good!
Anyone ever tell you that you sound like comedian Ralph Barbosa?
Never 🤣
@BranWolf i just wanted to say I agree with you because they were working together the entire time even the dog riley cared also that’s why I’m actually making a squad for it on my channel it’s called ghosts it’s for people that are going through bullying
That sounds like a really cool idea!
@@BranWolfYT it means like people that are going through bullying they can join so they don’t have to be alone in this
What you gotta remember is that they’re not doing it to tell a story, to create something on their own. It’s all about the Benjamins bro!! Had MW19 not been named MODERN WARFARE then I don’t believe it would’ve gotten a sequel. Nostalgia is the only thing that keeps it afloat TBH, & that’s the case for Black Ops.
One of the best campaigns of any cod
I did enjoy the campaign of Ghosts, besides the cliffhanger that it never got resolved.
Maybe that's what they've been trying to do with TF141 in the reboot MW series. Specifically with the Ghost team mission in MW2.
Then MWIII happened and it all went south from there.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens in the future.
If we don't see it at all, I'm blaming Sledgehammer and their DLC - turned full priced title pitiful excuse for a game.
The worst part is we never got a second game
Yupp
To me, every good CoD campaign will always have build-up, climax, and gtfo to the next mission. It always keeps you on your toes, and when bad things happen or characters dies, you felt it in your stomach and you in some way failed to save them.
You and I share several points, for example, I myself care about the campaign more than the multiplayer, and I also replayed Ghost less than a week ago and I respected and loved the game more than the first time I played it in 2013, and I see that this game in terms of story is better than it is It is popular when talking about it, and it deserves to become a series like MW... and this is what will happen in the next few years according to the latest rumors
Fellas if you love the squad dynamics of Ghosts, I need y’all to check out Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, thank me later 🤙🏻
I would prefer Ghost's character customization then the new operator bundle
This is a good retrospective of Ghosts. Since you mentioned how you appreciate COD for its stories, it'd be nice to see how you feel about Infinite Warfare's story.
I'll be getting 2 that soon!
I dont get people who ONLY play the campaign in cod games, Too little for the price you pay imo
This is a very interesting point. I would love to see infinity ward have a crack at making ghosts too rather than another modern warfare title. I would love to see a sequel to ghosts.
I was never into multiplayer, so i never understood why people hated ghosts. I loved it when i was a kid
This deserves more recognition this was a phenomenal game 🔥🔥🔥🔥
honestly its the best CoD, it had some amazing characters, an amazing storyline, and it wasnt forced or overused, and there was natural connections
I agree with that for sure.... i really enjoyed it.
bra why it took me years to learn I did the campaign mission wrong 😂😂
Just scrap the ending of ghost and the bombs going off and add them to the mw universe to tie them in
I found my next play through for my channel
someone never played OG Mw saga and this take place of OG MW3 in the timeline
But one of the missions did remind me of all gilled up in cod Ghost
Someone is me
eh, Ghost has better gameplay and seems more grounded by comparison, unless we are talking about just Call of Duty 4
The only thing I hated about COD ghost was the ending to the campaign everything else was 🔥
PS. Love the videos keep it up mate.
Even with a messy story, the game still has great set pieces, diversity, and great energy. But I will never understand why they opted to make the protagonist in a story about brotherhood be silent
Yeah I didn't like that at all
Rorke is boogeyman
Agree with everything you said, Ghost story was phenomenal imo.
I've loved every single CoD's campaign. How cheesy and cliche they might be, but I think that's the charm the franchise got.
Ghosts was pretty epic stealth wise
This is nothow you pronunce "Rio de Janeiro", it is not like spanish
😔
Let's not forget the context of when CoD:G was released, we literally transitioned from the OG MW series and BO2 which are absolute titans in the shooter genre to this day, like look at not just their effect in gaming culture but IRL culture too
I still remember how many people wanted Ghosts to be about Simon "Ghost" Riley and perhaps expanding upon his secretive past, basically being a prequel to the mainline MW series - People wanted to learn more about the stories told in the photographs all throughout the MW series from how Price knew Sandman and the like, they wanted full blown games expanding maybe Ghost's time in the SAS and how he met Price and Gaz, perhaps they were all in the same fireteam in 22 SAS or something
Essentially they wanted mission's like Farah's prisonbreak mission where we got to see a beardless Price, but instead told through the POV of Ghost
Not just that, but I think for some people, they wanted more expansion upon the stealth mechanics in the games, maybe going in civvies while concealing weapons to do some casing and setup for a night raid by sneaking weapons into particular places, yes there are stealth aspects in the game, with many of the missions having some stealth portions, but I think people wanted to see CoD dip more of themselves in the stealth genre and expand the whole "Soldier-ninja-assassin-smoke and mirrors" theme going on
That being said, the story and game as it is was pretty good, I had fun for a couple playthroughs even though I definitely felt myself getting disinterested with the constant gunfights after a few playthroughs, but that's true (for me) for a lot of games, not just CoD
I definitely think they could have changed the name of the unit from Ghosts to Spectres or something different as well as putting it out there later on to try to remove association with Simon Ghost Riley
You should try a game called door kickers 2. I love it. It allows you to enjoy the tactical and formation side of breaching and working as a unit.
Me after playing MW3 reboot: Perhaps i treated you to harshly...
Cod Ghost had banger Dlc's
This is exactly the video I've been looking for.
I hope you enjoyed it!
@BranWolfYT I did it was awesome, dude. Extinction next?
@@ItsMe_-lo5zg thank you and I actually haven't played it yet... I may have 2
@BranWolfYT it's extremely fun. Extinction is like zombies but with a twist. It requires teamwork and ranking to get better. You should play with friends lol.
@@ItsMe_-lo5zg nobody i know has ghosts anymore..
Game definitely improved during the dlc cycle
This brought back memories, cherished memories.
Okay , I'll play COD Ghosts again. I did enjoy the story when it dropped 👏🏼 good video ✅️
Thanks for watching!
Ghosts was the first COD I ever owned, the first I ever tried being the original Modern Warfare. But Ghost was special to me as at the time I didn't have access to the Internet, so I was stuck on my own. Luckily, you could still play multiplayer with bots, but I repeatedly played the campaign because I liked the teamwork aspect of it, knowing someone had my bad and I had their's.
I still wish Ghosts got a sequel or something as it's seriously underrated. I also hope that MW3 does something for ghosts in one of the seasons it has left as I think more people are going back to try the older games. Hell, a month or two ago, I bought both Ghosts and Advanced Warfare and really enjoyed them, one for nostalgia and the other trying for the first time.
Absolutely agree with this... Ghosts is so damn good and I'll be playing advanced Warfare here soon as well
“You may hate the Campaign all together but damnit you have to admit the way the Ghosts cared for each other was truly special”
No, I felt 10x more of a brotherhood between Woods and Mason alone than any of the ghosts. Reznov and Dimitri, Price and Gaz, ect ect. Ghosts have no chemistry with Logan.
The way the Ghosts work together is kind of neat but MW19 craps all over this no difficulty.
you remind me of deathmare
@@BranWolfYT I dunno who that is lol
@@alexdeghost2729 some guy who commented like a billion times one time 😅
@@BranWolfYT loool. Sorry. I have a passionate and justified reason to hate Ghosts.
@alexdeghost2729 I get it man for sure 😂
I also wanna point out how the story tries to have this strong brother sibling storyline…with an MC who doesn’t speak or show any character, which is an outdated aspect from CoD4 that Black Ops 1 ended! Black Ops 2, the game before Ghosts, had compelling characters you play as because they TALK and things are truly personal between the characters and Menendez, which is hardly in Ghosts!
Also I wanna add that while Rorke has clear motivations, the Federation are faceless, motivation-less goons we shouldn’t care about. Unlike every CoD Antagonistic force beforehand. Trash Campaign trying to be an MW2 gimmick.
Also I forgot to mention @BranWolf is this anyone can join subscribers and viewers
what do you mean?
@@BranWolfYT I meant to say anyone can join it
