Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a 2019 first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Serving as the sixteenth overall installment in the Call of Duty series, as well as a reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series

Ghost casually suggesting Laswell ( a CIA agent) carrying out a non-state sanctioned hit on a United States 4 Star general via airstrike is crazy.
Only ghost gave a shit with soap's death while Price was like "damn, that's rough"
There’s a bullet wound in Shepherds forehead that indicates Price had a slightly stronger reaction than that.

That was something i loved from the og trilogy. You had the cool spec ops missions for 141, and the large scale battles on the american side
Yeah I was surprised they didn’t include like sergeant Griggs or something as a main character for American story line , they Deff missed out on that cause Griggs is Badass !
There will be, because the hunt for Makarov is still on. Maybe Makarov will create an attack to US just like in the OG Cod
OG had a few missions with american soldiers but in the reboot, they weren’t in America for the most part. Obviously, they weren’t going to put American soldiers in the game.

MW4 better have WW3 as it's main plot point, MW2 and MW3 are just you running around the world doing semi low key operations constantly going back and forth with the villain not really getting anywhere.
Modern Warfare 2's story feels like a 5 episode side plot in a TV show, it doesn't have much to do with things that came before or after.
And MW3 is just slop, Makarov is like a dollar store version of himself constantly in a cycle of: Terrorist plot, 141 stops plot, next terrorist plot. Like let him pull one attack off successfully so the story can escalate a little.

Many shit things happened in MWIII... But, I just keep thinking what happens to Khalid al-Asad...
They literally show him in post credit scene and Season 1 in MW2019
And there's no story extension about him after MW2019...

They could’ve done that plot. That would make sense since Hadir was called the little lion as a child. Plus maybe the Hadir you meet at the atomgrad Soviet military base in urzikstan explains that the real Hadir is Al Assad. He became the AQ leader. Like Omar predicted him to be. Because he was given some change of appearance and mannerisms. That he’s no longer have a heart of gold. Just cold stone instead. That the Hadir is an imposter who was given a sleeper purpose to warn Farah about the bad Russians coming to the country of theirs. The real Hadir Uses the AQ to take revenge on the west and Soviet Union. And possibly China. Because they’re involved in this war as well. The connections would say Cordis Die.
Definitely, he was wasted. And what about, the Zachaevs? They were so integral to the original series but barely used in the reboot.

The worst plot twist is having makarov and graves working together
A better plot twist could’ve been that the real antagonist of modern warfare 2 could’ve been Rodolfo Parra. He would be the mastermind behind the stolen missiles, turning shadow company against TF141, and leveraging on General not shepherd. And also has links with AQ, Hassan, Konni, Makarov, and has some links with Cordis Die, Perseus, Raul Menendez, and the federation from ghosts.

Tbf the explosion wasn't actually that big the most it did was make the building unusable and the least it did was blow up the furnace and the other main parts of the gas production line

Don’t know if you mentioned it but all cods are interconnected mainly MW, and Black ops games are all connected. Barkovs gas was most likely Nova strain especially the connections between the two it wouldn’t be impossible to assume it. Warzone adds to this as well as Markov is a member of Perseus group from cold war
It all went to shit after mw2019. Story was starting off strong until mw2
mw2 was fun but if u try to look further into it u realize the story is shit

I miss tha serious tone tha was in the first mw, if they had tha tone in mw2, feel like the cartel side of the story would be more darker and have a lot of sicario movie vibes and the 3rd one could’ve “too much” the attacks would’ve been more brutal or wtv but nope

After a couple of seasons and some more stuff gets added you should make an updated version that also includes zombies (this may sound stupid but zombies has been confirmed to be cannon to the campaign).

alright, I love mw 1 and mw 2 not so much mw 3, but if we do get a mw 4 I really do hope that it gives more insight on PMCs like shadow company helping the rest of what's left of the 414 to find Makarov and kill him. Also at this moment, I hope they do invest in good gameplay and listen to player feedback and more character's other than the ones we know already
I truly hope Activision actually listens to its customers and offes a more detailed campaign. The last one was extremely lacking and leaved a lot of plot hole on the way

I honestly think the reboot story so far ranged from good to decent to bad.
The third game would have been great if Makarov's plan to blame the plane explosion on Farah worked and we see Russia invading Urzikstan en masse with actual armed forces, and we play as Alex/Farah defending the homeland like how MW2 2009 played out, while 141 is hunting for Makarov.

Alex explanation happens in MWII Raid missions & Makarov is thrown in prison when he is first captured by TF141 in a flashback Campaign mission in MWIII that takes place between MWI & MWII.
Did you not see the mission where Price and Soap capture Makarov in Verdansk than put him in prison?

It doesn't feel like there is any actual stakes in "modern warfare" We're fighting low level terrorists and like a cartel throughout most of it. In the old games we were literally fighting Russia and actual middle eastern threats that could set off nukes at the blink of an eye. The dynamic between Makarov and TF 141 in the original had me invested and it still pains me we never got mw3 campaign remastered. Activision's greedy asses will never let us see that. MW1 and 2 reboots also continued the story through warzone. Mw3 has not done this and it leaves Makarov's fate in the reboot undecided as they refuse to actually continue the story and finish it out. It's about selling bundles and hyping the next time. I could write paragraphs and paragraphs about activisions corporate greed.

Open combat missions are horrible the campaign was rushed and is quite boring the only mission I personally liked was the first one soup died in the stupidest way possible and they didn’t even kill MAC

Farah is the worst character in this new modern warfare trilogy
She seems to be well written in MW 2019. But her presence post MW 2019 feels filter. MW III could’ve been a new country. Maybe somewhere by Siberia. Really connecting black ops 2 as there’s a Cold War between the USA and China.
They really did a good thing in story telling of mw2019 but everything has gone down in mw2 and mw3. Mw3 story is the worst part and they killed off Soap for no reason.
