I hope they start offering more Tele models with the arm contour.

Agreed. It adds a level of comfort that should be a mainstay in the Tele design.

Nice updates, but I'm glad I got the Arctic Pearl Ultra with the black binding

I have an Ultra Tele and an Ultra Luxe Strat..... this seems like an I-Phone update. Fender made a few minor changes to the Ultra, renamed it, and bumped up the price. Don't get me me wrong, the Ultra series is fantastic, but I don't think we really needed the series ii.

      That’s a fair take.

Way over priced for what it is, CNC machine made counterfeit. it should be $550.00 case extra.
There is nothing ultra about this guitar. Buy a suhr or a Anderson and get old school build quality and attention to detail. Fender and Gibson are such rip offs

I agree with the fact that most american guitars are overpriced and a big part of the price is dictated solely by the logo on the headstock, but $550 is barely enoght to buy the components and raw materials for this guitar.
I'm currently in the process of building my own Partscaster with basically the same features of the one in this video (but with better pickups and bridge) and in the end it will cost me somehwere between 1000-1100$, this proves that 2.4k € (that's the price where I live, it might be different in the US) for such an instrument is way too much, but at the same time I think $550 is a bit unrealistic.

counterfeit of what? Fender? What and absurd statement. Cork sniffers are rarely players. You sound like an audiophile.

@@argento8447 you can get ultra 1 near mint for 1500$ but yeah....USa fender and gibson are inflated. And although they may be more money from that perspective the resell on them will always be better than a parts caster. A parts-caster may be cheaper...cheaper until you try to get ROI and sell it. If i get deals on my fender and gibsons..i can usually break even when/if i sell them.

@@Mrlz56 Better see how to convince the real pros, from both elite bands to the new wave, almost all armed with Fender, just watch the rock festivals from the small to the biggest, occasionally some gibsons and rarely any another brand, neither Suhr nor PRs you get to see, not to mention in basses, even more and more Fender acoustics, until it seems that the brand is in its most golden years.
