That would be a fun statistic! Unfortunately I'd have to scrub through ~26 hours of footage to get a count. Though excluding random trainers would probably make the process a lot faster

Heyyy, this is super nice. Glad you enjoyed Elite Redux! There's a bunch of changes already in the public beta of 2.0, but even if you don't play that, this was still an enjoyable watch.
I'm pretty sure you're not playing on the most recent version of the game from these battles. There's a 2.0 beta of the game out on their discord that adds all gen 9 pokemon adds tons of new Redux forms of existing pokemon that give them new typings, designs, abilities, and stat spreads, and it adds lots of new moves into the game that the original release didn't have.
Getting a full kit of competitive items and vitamins and assuming you're not meant to use them yet is absolutely insane behavior when playing a rom hack
0:35 Just how long have you been working on this video? Cus the latest version that lets you use Paldea mons has been out for a few months atm. Realising while typing this that it may be because it's a beta but it adds so much other QoL stuff that it's worth playing that .
I do not know how I beat this game, I remembered it being hard but this hard? Damn, idk how I beat it, I remember I had a Shiftry that couldn't get hit with super effective moves, that was my Ace
I am not surprised you didn’t go with a different strat for blastoise and wanted to use a different, new mega like Milo… But a little realization, you effectively missed out on wielding the power of an ag Mon: Mega blastoise is now an absolute monster with the expanded amount of moves mega launcher now affects, including moves like hydro and focus blast. To give you an idea on why I label it as an ag Mon… The only reason it isn’t ag is that gira, who hard counters it through spectral thief, twist dimensions, and shadow tag, is among the big 3 for Ubers, thus being VERY common. The moment it leaves (which is likely due to gira itself being oppressive in its own right with that ability and move combo among others like a newly physical core enforcer.), blastoise would promptly go apeshit, because NOTHING in the format takes the combo of hydro and focus blast well at all at +2 and the only thing that reliably revenge kills it is specs veltal due to air blower (tailwind on entry for 3 turns), specs specifically since it’s the only one with enough power to kill it, and it has to be special, since wicked blow bounces off due to shell armor, and also resists flying due to a newly gained steel typing.
When I first played this game I thought four abilities and early access of every item will make this game a cakewalk. But I got my ass beaten many times and and completed this game with 58 blackouts😅😅😅😅
a randomized nuzlock is easy to be honest but I added a rule that a lowed me to chose a pokemon from each route with the dexnav best pokemon is Grimmsnarl btw
One of the first thigns I see is an Ice/Rock type pokemon with freaking 'takes 75% less damage from super effective moves'. Jesus christ, might defensive ice types ACTUALLY be viable in this?
i tried this, and every trainer got their own gameplay 😅 i fought against umbreon with a healing strat (heal, anti debuff, and attack using our pokemon attack's stat)
