Star Citizen aims to span multiple video game types by combining space trading, space combat and shooter elements, in a first person massively multiplayer online game. We cover the ongoing situation to keep you informed and up to day. As an early backer and tester, you need to be ready for its quirks but you can also witness the game evolve.

This was definitely a unique build with some challenges, but it was super rewarding to see the it all come together. Can't wait for the next one 😁
More to come!
Good lord. Busy couple of days. I would love to setup a sim rig someday. Couple more years before I retire from the military and buy a home in a permanent spot, so just a little longer to wait. Another great video.
Awesome video as usual Noob! I live in Cheyenne, Wy. About 30-45 minutes north of where you were in Loveland. (depending on traffic) I really enjoy what you do and your attention to detail. With your voice and tone, I'm sure you can make growing grass and watching paint dry exciting! As always a great video and glad you enjoyed the view in Colorado. Sometime you will have to take a trip down for pleasure, not work and go fishing/hiking in the mountains.
Very cool! Yeah I plan to be back. It was lovely
Very awesome rig 👍🏼 Good, clean job, as always. It was a pleasure to watch. Have fun.
Thanks 👍
Anyone who can afford to learn how to fly is working on a different financial plane to us mere mortals
Not entirely true, just don't spend 1000/month on that fancy bmw/truck (bed you don't use), etc that's now worth 20% of what you paid when you finally get the note from the bank.
Learning to fly spread out will be cheaper than a child , so I’m guessing parenthood is not too close
@NOOBIFIER1337 For long gaming sessions which cushion type for the monstertech chair do you recommend?
I have the blackbird but I have to stop playing after a few hours because of the discomfort. ☹
Watching the clouds at 3:39 onwards is mesmerizing
It would likely be better to use a riser to move the GPU out of the way of the other slots so you aren't tied to any one specific motherboard. There are many cases that have alternate positions of GPU mounts for those that use Risers.
It worked out fine with fewer points of failure. The motherboard was the same price
Great personnel hangar module 😁
One day, I'll build a real sim rig. Thanks for sharing! 😊
This is so cool!
Another great looking setup!
Holy shit what a cool build!
Super fun
So cool, thanks
I have been wanting to run a business that rents time in sim chairs like these, maybe have a pair of pilot focused sim setups and a few arcade versions for gaming. Reminds me of the battle tech pods that people could roll into a event space and link up for mech battles but this would be for airplanes and star ships.
Contact me. I can make this happen
@@NOOBIFIER1337 I may poke again if i find out if i can get the right loans thanks!
Great video. Superb insight and build. Such a great working environment.
Nice build. FI if you ever use a shell, it's possible to remove the internal model. All the best. May although require different G1000s then what you used here.
Wow. If I had that kind of money, I'd definitely be interested in that sort of thing. I'm amazed at how good MSFS can look on triple-screen.
Consider VR for a future upgrade as it now allows for a high-quality mixed reality view of the real control panels/hands
that is an amazing rig. great job.
WOW love that system wish I had that kind of resources
I can't even begin to calculate the cost of this rig. Good for Kurt, jealous AF, but you thought Star Citizen was high cost, this is an order of magnitude more. :D
I would guess it could be done for $35,000 if careful or comfortably for $40,000.
@@rsilvers129no way, he built the Qubic system for me and I have over $100k in to it total. It’s set up for driving and flying and can be switched back and forth in just a few minutes . I bet this was close to the hundred K too.
Why not VR? It is really odd how one of the best use cases for VR is the one where people go for oldschool multi-monitor builds. For that kind of cost you can throw in a Varjo XR-4. Many organizations choose these over screens for a reason. And with XR passthrough you can still get the tactile feedback of seeing and touching the G1000 panels.
I mentioned why earlier in the video
VR has a lot of issues also. Since you can add VR for $300, might as well have both.
@@NOOBIFIER1337 I am sure if you'd demo it to Kurt, he'd be so mind blown that he'd want that as an option to switch to as well. Will be interesting to see this rig grow over time if you do content of future visits as well!
@@mhe0815 he had seen it. He prefers screens
Yeah private hangars are like that.
Are you going to Test Moza's new FFB Joytsick base?
I have been testing it for a couple months
What a sweet rig! I would love to aim to put something like this together.
@@ecclesiastros we would love you to reach out when you are ready for one.
Always so cool.
When I saw the thumbnail, I could not have imagined how cool this video would be.
Does MSFS have a setting to factor in the motion of the platform so that what it shows on the screen is adjusted to appear relative to the pilot so that the visual motion cues are correct? Is this done with a motion tracker added to the platform or maybe the motion platform gives a signal to MSFS? Or is the only way to have proper motion cueing to have the monitors move with the platform?
It’s compensated. Also, he is installing TOBII next week
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Will the TOBII see the location of the eyes and compensate on the screens?
@@rsilvers129yes, just like VR
@@NOOBIFIER1337 Is TOBII better than TrackIR for this kind of thing?
@@rsilvers129 I believe so
does not need to be this expensive
Sure it does. Its about to get even more expensive
What an awesome set up.
It really is!
What yoke did you use?
Brunner
Just Awesome....
Thank you so much 😀
Wow, great job!
Thanks!
From the description I thought "40k? You can get a small, used, real airplane for that money!" But then I learned the guy already has a bunch of planes. We are in dire need for wealth taxation.
idd
You can also get a simulator for $1000 or a plane for $100 million. Having an airplane is one thing. Paying for hanger space for it, wet costs, and maintenance is another.
The government would just waste the money paying for gender reassignment surgery for minors.
Having an airplane that you can crash without consequence while learning (ie sim) is priceless.
