Amazingly, it's not that the colors are adjusted, but that they're more accurate: Traditionally, in rasterization, ambient light comes from a generic blue tint representing the sky, which leads to the ugly blue lighting in shadowed areas. There's Global illumination usually, but it's typically simplified, and doesn't reach every area (especially in games with dynamic time of day), so those areas stay blue. But with ray tracing, lighting is calculated based on the actual colors and intensities of nearby light sources (including the colors of objects reflecting lights, like the red grass at 0:50 creating a red light in the area), which leads to actual proper colors instead of the blue. This is why some areas appear darker-they're not artificially lit by a "generic ambient skylight) but by the actual new light.
@@icantdecideahandle Path tracing is what dlss 3.5 uses, every rtx geforce uses this. Simple speaking it's ray tracing + "monte carlo simulation" (which makes it possible for lower gpus too, since you simple decrease the sample ratio so to say). That's hard on 4k for a PS5 on max settings. Maybe if resolution or settings are lowered ray tracing can be done with 60 fps on PS5 but else... hm.. actually that could work if frame generation is applied. For rtx cards that's only for 40 series possible, but maybe PS5 has that available.
As much as I am happy about this changes, I still think that Kuro is neglecting one of the most requested feature of the mobile players: the mobile controller support. After 1.0 or 1.1 I think, they never talked about the mobile controller support. Also, I think WuWa can separate themselves from being a Genshin 2.0 if they made some additional game mode for multiplayer. A raid boss system, a cross platform fighting game mode similar to Smash Bros. where echoes, build, and sequences don't matter, just pure skills, a world chat with auto translate functionality, etc.
you demand so much like it's a AAA game 😂, it's a live service gacha game. you have no idea how expensive it is to run a live service game especially on the mobile market. I'd rather have them optimize the game first rather than adding various things that you can't play properly.

I think they would do better job by adding additional graphic setting instead of relying on RTX since most part of the RTX effects are just better bounce light effects, aka the same as Global Ilumination setting in Genshin. It would be a win-win for both PC and Console players. Also, I think RTX is a bit too heavy for a small graphic upgrade. Still a nice graphic upgrade though.
Pretty unnoticeable in this demo given the cartoony art style. It doesn't change the textures because that would make it less cartoony, and you didn't show any scenes where lighting made a big difference.
