- I went into this video expecting nothing but plane, with a flareless 10.0. It actually turned out to be surprisingly pleasant experience, and I had a great time with my 10.0 magic slinger. There's actually a reason to play it now that it got dropped to 10.0, and I'd recommend giving it a shot.

@@GeneralLee2000 The Mirage IIIC is not even close to the fastest Mirage, but it's the 2nd fastest at 10.0, save for the Starfighter and it's mighty J79 turbine. The Sidewinder missile packed by all the American fighters (Starfighter included) at your BR are just barely faster than you. All it takes is for you to stay fast around enemies and stay away from the "furball", and you'll never have any issues with IR missiles up your tailpipe.
In short, if you don't want to deal with your lack of flares, then don't be in a position to need to flare.
Flareless jets with good missiles will never get properly balanced. This is the point where realism could be ignored. Give these aircraft countermeasures and it will make experience better for everyone.
They've gotta give all the A10/A6/Su25k mains some free kill neuron activation moments somehow tho
I agree but they should do something like: weaker flares for them, remove the missile warnings or make them harder to see or make IR missiles more flare resistant like in real life. Allowing everyone to press a button to not get hit by a missile doesn't really require skill and giving planes like Ariete a free pass from all missiles means it goes even further up where only skilled players want to play it.
6:35 JA37C also have Pulse-Doppler(an actual PD) at 11.0 and have Aim7E2(DF). Probably one of the best jet at 11.0 both Performance and Armament.

Mirage IIIC in sim is a beast. Its kit and performance allows it to bully everything if the max BR is the same as the Mirage.

As of right now, just before the fox3 patch, the 3c fights mostly 9.3-9.7 while the 3e sees 11.3 enemies nearly every match

This will definitely be a menace at this BR but the CM less issue isn't too bad if you take the SEPR 841 kit & just pull like a crazy person with that ignited (I feel it maybe an effective strategy as I've gotten out of harms way from R-60 like AAM's, I still need more testing to confirm).
But yes the SEPR 841 kit is rather fun on this & you'll be high & ahead of many with it, It just sucks you don't get more than one R.530, Just the main drawback is no cannon pack but hey when my aim is shit I might as well take the rocket.
Personally I would definitely take the guns over the rocket haha, 3 missiles simply isn't enough to justify no gun IMO
Also be careful of JA-37Cs when getting uptiered in this plane since the Viggen does have PD along with E-2s.

This and the shahak are honestly sleepers at their BR.
The 530 and 530F are CW (Constant Wave) missiles, not Pulse-Doppler missiles. This is why they are so easily distracted by chaff.

The su 22‘s at 10.7 got R60mks, so can you make a video on the german one with 128 flares and worse flight performence or the Italien one with 12 flares and more thrust? I’m asking cause I find them much better with all aspect missiles and a matchmaker where you get many downtiers. (10.7>11.0)
Oh I definitely will, R-60Ms at 10.7 is kinda nuts
And when you compare the poor SU-17 M2 with no flares and only 4 R60 at 10.3 with the german SU-22UM3K at 10.7 with 128 Flares and 6 R60mk you know they can’t balance their game
When it was 10.3 I already loved it, it's very challenging to play, but it's cool to kill f5cs in dogfight hehe
Do you think the Israeli Shahak is still worth it at same BR but with 9D’s?
It's quite nice to fly now, and I'd probably take it over the IIIE since I've flown the shahak quite extensively and prefer the better flight performance. But it also reminds me of the other flareless 10.3s. Facing rare aspect only missiles is manageable in these planes but for some reason everyone thinks the A-10 is an air superiority fighter and 5+ of them are always on the enemy team if you're facing USA..... all these all aspect aircraft with bad flight performance need to go up in br
I was worried you'd recommend I get hit since the F-15 especially doesn't care about having two wings and it's your favorite plane... I'm happy you clarified on this day 2024.

idk I've never found the r-60m to be a problem in the mirage 3, its so low energy that you can very often dodge it with minimal effort . the aim-9L is much more opressive
The Shahak (Mirage3CJ) trades the Magics for an RWR, but only gets Shafrir 2s/Aim9Ds. Idk about the matchmaker, might try it out at some point soon, but I’ve found zero enjoyment from WT recently and have been playing some resident evil games instead
How well do rocket pods work for dodging flares?
Iffy, rear aspect they're horrid but front aspect they work ok
Would you say you like the 3C more than the Shahak? The 3C gets Magics while the Shahak has 9D's and a RWR
Personally yes, the magics are very good now. If I had 9Gs instead of 9Ds I'd prefer the Shahak, but the caged seeker can be very limiting on the 9D. Still a very good missile, just a little annoying sometimes.

Just unlocked the 3E yesterday don't even know if I want to go further top tier seems... yeah. I'm nowhere near smart enough to know what is being shot at me if I can't evade anything I see using one, costly maneuver while chaffing/flaring there's no point to me using the plane.
If lots of radar missiles, deck hug. If any missile flare anyway. If rear aspect cut afterburner and flare. If high up go perpendicular to the radar missile and chaff until rwr stops. If IR missile from front flare once.
@@anrw886 this is what I mean I guess, I have no idea if I should treat it like an IR rear aspect or radar from the side because I have no idea if the missile being shot at me is IR, Radar, what aspect it is. It is all just "the missile" where I need to cut speed, go perpendicular, and dump both chaffe and flares to get rid of it, whatever it is.
